- Hey Yall! Welcome back! This is the first video of my "Decorate With Me" series. In these videos, I'll bring ya'll along as I decorate and furnish my entire house! In this video, I paint my Master Bedroom a new color, get the carpets cleaned and install some new under cabinet kitchen lights!

The house turned out so good. Your uncle was a life saver! He saved you so much money. I watched your house journey when you originally started remodeling. I was devasted when you said you were selling the house and moving. My friend was laughing at me, because I was so upset. I'm so glad you kept your home. Love it.

I noticed a change in you between the the finishing of the house until today. You have changed drastically, you have matured and have a glow that only God can put there. Never be ashamed of being depressed. That's what's wrong with our community now (low income or wealthy), we are ashamed to speak about or even to seek out a therapist when we know that it's needed. We can't always fix our own problems, sometimes we need help, and getting help can also help someone else that might be depressed and not realizing that there's help out there via therapy. I'm so glad that you're well mentally and physically because you are an absolute doll. No more braces, long locks and your skin is healthy. Everyday, find a quiet place and give God just a little of your time to thank him for your many blessings. I don't know you personally, but know that I love you and I'm glad that you're back ..... **hugs & kisses**

You all did an outstanding job in that house! Your Uncle...He should be rich! He is a consummate carpenter, plumber, and does amazing tile work as well! He reminded me of my uncles, who were in the same line of work that he is in. Unfortunately, I lost both of them, one just this past August. The craftsmanship that is shown in your uncle's work is very professional and you can tell that he loves what he does. You are truly blessed to have such a supportive village around you. But I'm not surprised, because you have great talent in your own right! I've seen your work as well and wish you lived in my town so I would be able to get one of your pieces. Well Ms. Home Improvement, another great video behind us. It's like you never missed a beat. Although from time to time I checked in to see if you were back or ok. I was sincerely concerned. Now, all of that's behind us. You are by far my favorite when it comes to DIY furniture and just furniture assembly all together . You were the one who influenced me to DIY a furniture piece that came out amazing because of you . I am so happy you decided to have your carpets cleaned because pet dander and odor is real . I own a carpet cleaning company. If you still smell it get someone to clean it with pet odor control with enzymes. Hopefully the pet didn't pee anywhere in the house. The next step if you still smell it , is to remove and replace the carpet padding and that will do it completely. To avoid any pet odors regular pet grooming essential. The bright side to all of this is the tenants didn't damage your home and it looks like it was never lived in as you mentioned. This is a huge blessing, because some people don't respect things that do not belong to them. You heard me say SOME ( for the readers in the comment section) because I do not broad stroke everyone. LOL Now that this is clear, Without giving anything away so that others may watch, I can't wait for all the new things you decide to show us. I'm here for it all.

I had a similar situation when my tenant move out with their large pet. Even after I spent a great deal trying to get rid of the pet odor, it would die down for a few days but the odor would always returned. I eventually had to pull up all the carpet due to the odor was trapped in the pads and repainted the rooms. Hopefully it want be that extreme for you just wanted to share :-)!
The renters really did a good job on keeping your home looking like you left it. I know someone who had to redo all the carpets because the renters had 4 dogs. She said she'd never seen a place left like that. They even left mattresses behind. But I get why you had the carpets and floors cleaned. I would have done the same. Welcome back! I'm looking forward to seeing how you decorate your home. I hope all is well with you. And that your holidays went well. And I love the new lighting that you installed. yes! its my opinion that a house is not complete until it has basebords and crowns. that vinyl wall in the bathroom is fine for now but in the future if you are going to spend over a certain amount of money on a house you need to have stone and tile and that includes the backsplash.

I got under cabinet lights from Target (battery operated). Mounted them and they work like a charm...even came with a remote and change colors. Cute house and shape! You killin it April!

April so proud of you and your new house great job. I was so happy to see you come back missed you. If I may suggest get some Dollar Store brown wrapping paper to put on the top of your cabinets they collect a lot of grease and dust. When I cleaned the top of my cabinets it was so gross I wondered if the previous owner had ever cleaned that area. People don’t think about cleaning that area it can be a source of odor as well.
