Love all of this album, but after 8 years this song makes me the happiest. I have a smile on my face every second of it! I love everything after when everything falls but this is what made me love htd.
I dont know how haste the day can pull off a breakdown ending like that. Its awesome, and breaks all the rules of classic "Hardcoreness" . Awesome work!!
Yes this is the original 5 piece members!! They played this song live in Indianapolis and it brought back old memories of their cd release show for Burning Bridges at Carmel High school many years ago.
Eh, it might make it easier for people who prefer one or the other, but I really like how they just blended everything they've ever done together for this album

Back in the day Brennan's voice overpowered Mike's...now Mike's voice overpower's Brennan's...on here anyway...You can hear Brennan's voice much better on the actual album.
I'll never understand the cult-like follow of the original haste the day vocalist. The new guy has a grit to his sound that I really like and there's a depth to his sound. The old school guy in this song has a really smooth false chord sound, but its really one dimensional to me.
+Jordan B I like the old vocalist screams, it resemble with Zao, Beneath the Sky, Carcass, very few have that range of screams. Really huge fan of old HTD from Romania, grew up listening to that, Stephen's vocals are great also, but the signing part falls into places great when only Brennan, Mike and Devin does them, I mean just look at the likes on "Accept" approval vs the rest of the songs from the albums old HTD is purer quality and unique when Coward was released it was like Christmas we were all curious how many old HTD are there, too bad it was just only 1, they should have release two albums, OLD and New, both would be equally enjoyable.

Dreamer is my favorite album from HTD because it has a good variety of sounds in my opinion and almost all of the songs are bangers in their own right. I never got through much old HTD stuff because the vocals just didn't really do it for me. I don't know much context outside of just the music itself other than all of the comments I saw about people liking the old vocalist. I never cared for Coward, probably because my music taste changed, but this album has a more hardcore/ punk style that Im not a huge fan of. The only "punk"-like band I listen to nowadays is Cattle Decapitatio, but they're more grindcore thank hardcore.

I wish the rest of this album sounded like this song. I liked both Jimmy HTD and Stephen. But this album was just not that good. Accept is the only song I really like and Coward and Gnaw, the rest of the album is not haste the day material
It's good and sounds like their early stuff, which I can understand old-school fans being hyped about...but it's super generic. Not generic in the sense of sounding like other bands, but it sounds like they have made this song like 5 times already in the past. I know other songs on the album offer more variety, but I just don't understand why everyone is calling this one the best. I got bored after the first chorus. Same recycled riffs, chord progressions, chorus, heck everything. It's cool to stay true to your sound, but at least expand on it (keep in mind that I know the whole album isn't like this, nor is their whole discography) they are about out of fresh ideas at this point...which happens and I'm not holding it against them. I just don't get how people are so pumped here. Brennon has used this type of chorus to DEATH in the past. It's waaaaay too rehashed. Bands like Killswitch engage have stayed true to their sound over the years, but still manage to write songs that stand out from each other (for the most part). Sorry for complaining, but sheesh.
