I tried to learn this game from the rulebook, which was a mistake. The rules were badly written and made learning the game too difficult. This video made the game far easier to understand. Thanks.
I like to learn from rulebooks, therefore I don't usually watch tutorial videos. The rulebook for Sand is so atrocious, however, I don't see how anyone could learn a game from it. This video is the best board game tutorial I have ever seen. Thank you very much.
I went through set up just this morning,,, I think it was a good choice for this game to have it already set up and then describe what was done. Might be a good approach for selected other games in the future. I don’t see this done that often and your description was clear and concise, as usual.
We have some of our how to play videos like this :) For example the Great Western Trail, and usually some of the complex one, and just explaint the context of why things need to be set up in a certain way. Thank you so much for your kind words and noticing 🙏
I was introduced to this game at a convention by devir itself and it was not even close to that , worst experience ever ! I am glad you guys exists , this should be the official tutorial video !
I red the rulebook (in spanish) and, yes, it was quite difficult but I always prefer to read it instead of learn the rules from a video. However, a friend told me your video for this game was really good, and here I am, this is my first time in ur channel... I must say, what a video! This video should take as a tutorial video on how to teach a board game in youtube. Excellent! It also help me with the Abandoning goods action, wich i though was only to trash the cube xd
Welcome to the "university"! Thank you so much, we are so so humbled, this means a lot to us. Hope you continue to enjoy the game, and hope you can find other video useful as well 🙏🙏🙏
I just bought the game and a Devir worker explained it to us on the store while we played a demo, he was amazing but this video is also cool for refreshing. Thanks
Despite what many people are saying in the comments, I just learned how to play from the rulebook. Did it take time? Yes, around 1 hour, but I managed to understand it, and I don't find it impossible, as some people are saying. I will admit though that it is confusing, and that your video helped illustrate one or two points I hadn't quite understood. However, the developers seem to realize this, since in the very rulebook they state that games this long and with these many elements it's difficult to follow a logical order in the explanation, and they went out of their way to indicate in which section is explained which element. Can't wait to try it out with my girlfriend!
I have a question regarding the last round. You said in the video that there is no upkeep face. Does that mean that during the last round you don't have to put new plant cubes in the cities?
Ty for the game explanation specially for the last round, but in this last round, does the turn order stay the same? Do the dice get rerolled, and by who? Would appreciate an explanation of this part if you could ty.
Up until the last round, turn order is determined by the card you take. In the very last round, where there are no cards to take, the turn order does not matter anymore, as it grants no points, and it's pointless to roll the die, because the game ended.
It's a fun game! Complexity is probably medium, more complext than Wingspan and more than Wyrmspan. Probably just under Terraforming Mars. But this surely varies between folks
Im confused. And by the sounds of it, the rulebook is more confusing. I guess this is a no go. Seems like too many rules overhead will keep this off my table. This is the kind of game you have to spend an hour relearning every time you bust it out. 😅

Great tutorial. Not a fan of the art n the worm token, but it looks fun
🙏 Thanks so much
Looks very interesting!!! What would you say is the weight of this game and any other games to compare please?

I am very much looking forward to this game's release.

It is a complex game🙏
so one can abandon any number of goods...
I love the theme and the idea, but it feels way too complicated for what it wants to do, and is way WAY too color dependent
