GM really knocked it out of the park with the new redesign on the midsize twins. Would have been perfect if they put in the 5.3/10spd though
You can get a 5.3 in a 2006 thur 2009. But definitely would be better if they still did and a baby duramax still
Engine is good enough. Bet this truck will be viral after a few trips to rousch creek
The High Output Turbo 4 makes more power and torque than the 5.3 ever could.

It’s an awesome looking truck! But I agree where they cut corners. The stitching on the headrests, the floor panels, and even looks like halogen dome lights

Awesome truck!! so glad you went with the ZR2. Seen another video with someone saying the exact same thing about their turn signal so it must to be a defect. They should be able to take care of it under warranty.

I just picked my 2023 ZR2 today! All black, but I think I have the only non bright color in our area. 20 miles so far. I like it as much as my 2021 maybe more. I hope you enjoy yours young man! Love the Nirto color!

The colour reminds me of a colour that the E46 BMW M3 had. I believe it was Phoenix Yellow. A lot of people hated it but i liked it. Been looking for an M3 in that specific color for a while now.

The Colorado ZR2 has been a dream truck 🛻 of mine since 2016-17, sadly I still haven’t owned my first truck 🛻 all these years later.
Hey RF I’m considering getting one of these but I’ve seen those pictures of bent frames, should this be something I should worry about? I don’t off-road often but I would like to every once in a while. Any advice would be appreciated. Thank you!
Hey Bobby, FYSA GM has a tuning upgrade you can get from the dealership for that in-line 4.
Hope to see all this muds I have been looking for content for the new zr2 but there is not much available really happy that you get to have one so we can all see it’s real potential

That 4cyl has more power & torque than the old V6 ! And some of the guys in the Colorado forums say it will walk off & leave the old ZR2! The turn signal problem is also on a lot of the forums!! As well as glitches on the new screen. Great looking truck though! Wish it had the roof bar/fog light setup!

I bought some new black Silverado 18s ZR2 wheels and tires for my 2023 Colorado Trail Boss, my truck came with 20s I hate 20s,,,these 18 ZR2 wheels tires fit good, but I do plan on getting another 2 inch lift later! Total of 4 inches!

Debated that myself. ZR2 much better. The raptor has hp but who cares in a truck. Plus the Raptor has noooooo amenities almost.
You are absolutely correct about the color. I got the sand dune mettalic. I saw it in the yellow and the gmc at 4x in their yellow, and they shockingly looked sharp. It's not the same as pics or video.

After 6 months to the day from ordering to arriving at the dealership, I finally have my 2023 Glacier Blue ZR2!!! This is my 3rd Z.... Absolutely Love this truck!! The new 2.7 turbo power is by far a superior engine compared to the 3.6 V6

Congrats very good choice on the truck! I Don’t care if it’s a 4 cylinder either. My Bronco has a 4 banger and these new 4 cylinder turbos have plenty of snort. Most people that complain haven’t driven one, and have no intention of buying these trucks. Your new truck just needs that Magnaflow exhaust for the neighbors sake! ❤

Stock 310hp and 430 lb/ft of torque. TurboMax only available standard on ZR2, a tune for everything else.

The same but different, it’s great! Curious how it will perform in the high elevations compared to the N/A V6. The headlights are kinda nuts, but come to think of it I don’t ever touch the headlight switch on my 2013 Silverado. I’m waiting for the jump video no matter how cliche it may be.

The ZR2 Colorado Bison comes out end of year. surprised you didn’t wait. Comes with 35”s and has hydraulic jounce bump stops from multi Matic also. Along with AEV steel bumpers. That truck is sick though.

Hellz yes! Been waiting patiently for the new Colorado z! Personally, I like it way better than the Silverado. More capable imo as far as off roading and mudding etc. Little more maneuverability I feel like. Anyways, congrats brother! Can't wait to see your channel continue to grow and being part of the 717 business now, it should be all up from here. Ready to see you in a TRX and end up giving this one away as well!
