Danielson became world champion and has had historical matches in AEW. The best Cole did was win a tournament 3 years ago, and hold a tag title for one of his buddies. Cole betrayed The Elite, he betrayed ReDragon, all to climb a ladder he fails time and time again to reach the top of. If he didn't even mention Undisputed Kingdom when he first spoke, the heel could ask "How long until you betray your Kingdom and get nothing out of it in the long run? I mean they already failed the Samoa Joe plot. Where's the big man you punished months ago for failing you? Exactly. Didn't even bother to go after Swerve, Danielson, or Moxley. Don't say 'I won't betray Undisputed Kingdom. They're my friends'. So was Kyle during recovery and look what happened." Jay White was in that ring when he first got put on the shelf. All Cole has done is have other people fight the battles he should be having while Jay has won multiple titles and has the drive to get more.
