Thanks for posting this! Im an amateur pianist. What I found really interesting was the part when you were waiting backstage while your violinist friend was performing. I could imagine how nervous and tense those moments are pre-performance. I also liked your honesty about feeling down on some days. One always thinks that it must be blissful to be doing what you love 24/7, especially with your amazing talents and at your level, but being a pianist is really hard work, and there's a lot of pressure one probably feels. Thanks so much and look forward to your other vlog posts.
Hello! It's my first time watching one of your videos and I just want to express how much I appreciate the truth that your video contains. No sugar-coating, just simple and real. Also, I would like to say that the Royal College of Music is actually my dream college! Looking forward to more vlogs! Keep it up. 💛
I love your channel already. Im a vocal jazz major working toward becoming a music therapist and Ive always wondered what the other side looked like :) Im truly inspired and am starting my channel today. My story is quite different especially since I have five children and am only a year into my bachelors. I am now learning to play the guitar and piano but I've been singing my entire life. Im so happy I found your channel! Thank you so much for being an inspiration for the real side of music and reading this long ass post ^.~! Subscribed!!!
Thank you so much Tameka!! It really means a lot to me that you enjoy my videos! (Also I'm so rookie I didn't see your comment until today so sorry for the late reply!) I have so much respect for music therapists since it's such a meaningful way to directly help others with the power of music. Best of luck with everything!!
Hiya Peggy!! I've just discovered your channel. I notice you're taking a little different angle from Tiffany Poon's channel, where she always uses her own playing, even as background music for travel footage. I also notice you have a North American accent. Are you from the US or Canada? What's your music specialty? Is it Beethoven, Gershwin, Chopin,..?
I'm also from Hong Kong and have lived there all my life until recently moving to London! Apparently international school kids from HK naturally pick up a north american accent 😂 I personally feel most at home playing German and French music.
