Four seconds in, I hit the like button. I'm a fellow Australian spending my Saturday night sipping on local imperial stout, playing with SBC's and saw you released a video. Embrace profanity!
As American over here I wondered what was up for a second , but then I thought it was just a traditional Aussie greeting and was amused but your reasoning is very impressive I applaud your efforts, keep doing what you are doing I love your technology perspectives and commitment , also we do a similar thing to get rid of scammers when new comers join a group
Fukin A. I'm completely shocked that you're the first I've seen to take this approach. People cry censorship, but don't notice when it's driven by advertisers. I was sure it was going to be the norm. YT is adding instant ads on pause soon... and I give it another year before they're "improving" Premium with "limited" "carefully selected" ads.
Hah yeah honestly the pennies UA-cam pays ain't worth it - this channel costs me money to make, but I enjoy the technology, and people like yourselves, so screw them and their horrific abuse of peoples attention spans, personal data, and monetisation of our beautiful otherwise neat looking screen real-estate!
@@marsovac Hah ain't wrong, but some screens need special colour calibration, or might require drivers to support HDR perhaps? This one works first time without issue though
@@marsovac not necessarily! Not all graphics cards support HDR, so some might include some sort of softHDR function, or even need the monitor to be firmware updated first to work with a newer GPU or something. Some displays are also USB-C like the HP 14" portable display, so that may require DisplayLink or similar drivers which I've come across myself before. You're definitely right that a colour profile is not a driver though!

Hah not a bad way to spend a Saturday night! I ended up on the whiskeys. Cheers for your support!

Question did your AliExpress monitor did you need to install drivers for it , just work out of box ?
It is HDMI. If we needed drivers for HDMi devices then the protocol would not be doing it's job.
Worked out of the box! Here's the one I got: www.ebay.com.au/itm/285558645271 (turns out it was eBay, oops, probs on AliE too though)

@@PlatimaTinkers it might require a color profile to be working properly/accurately, but that's hardly a "driver".

We dont need no fuckin box..fuck the anti-static bag too. Fuck Ethernet. We don't need no stinkin network cable. Set yourself free with wifi.
Hahah that's a way to say it!
It's a mad house, a mad house !!! 😱 And I love it. 😀
As it should be!
Nice intro. To unlock the framerate, use vblank_mode=0 before a command.
Oh, you did just that at the end!
@@r0galik Yep hahaha. I was just getting annoyed at filming at trying to rush things along before running out of space on the CFast card 😅
Yup. Fucking bastards we are. I support through your store.
That you do mate! Always appreciated
@@PlatimaTinkers I might pick up another ox
