What on earth happened here? expected Tony to come out on stage. Sorry i didn't research how they'd changed but a bit of a shock. Like watching Queen and getting Adam Lambert instead of Freddie without knowing why!!?
I'm afraid, in about one year there will be no more Spandau Ballet. Hadley isn't Hadley without his band and the band is not Spandau Ballet without Tony Hadley. They are my favorite band since 1979, but I think it's over soon. The voice of Ross isn't bad, but it doesn't work to the songs from SB.
Hadley is even better without Spandau. Go to one of his gigs and experience the fun and the friendship that's between all the bandmembers. The reviews of his UK tour are incredible!
Some people need to open their minds.Let go of the past. You don't have to stop making music just because you reach a certain age. I love Tony but he wouldn't be where he is today without Spandau. He still needs their songs.
