It’s definitely a game with a learning curve that’s pretty steep Concerning what actions to take, which ressources to gather, which modules to get…. I think the only thing I didn’t hear yoh mention (because you can’t go over every little tiny thing) is the way some modules give everyone a resource. Do you plan on doing a video for the expansion stuff? Like the other locations, special moons and modules etc? Have you seen any big changes to the rules or factions from when you played before?😊
such a good question bc people easily miss this one! 1) Some tactics cards will have event triggers 2) Launching to Maximus/Odessa Field 3) Progress Tracks (as you've mentioned!) So if you play tactics cards often and constantly buy modules, this speeds up gameplay because events trigger and scoring happens
At 7:20 you list the options when going to the Maximus Field. I'm pretty sure you can also 6) Buy 1 Science, Discard 1 Science; or 7) Buy 1 Industry, Discard 1 Industry.
I didn’t realize you can rearrange the modules! This could work great for the howlers! Discard a slotted moon token, go up a track, rearrange the modules, then return to station grabbing another moon and slotting it (possibly getting points again from slotting it) and do this every time you return! That could be wild!

What was it about Dwellings that didn't click? The gameplay is very similar to Andromeda's (albeit AE is a lot more crunchy). Would hate for you to "waste" money as AE is basically a spiritual successor to Dwellings.
Just got my all in yesterday! Wolfguardian howlers looks nice! K so is this game a good as Dwellings at the same player counts or does it lean different? I prefer dwellings at 3-2 personally.

Hey Dan thanks for watching! And yes you’re correct! You would shuffle them in, but i sleeve them as well so you’d split half the stack and leave the rest in the box

Question. It shows you only put 2 Sclass strikers on the board but my game came with four. Last night my wife and I played with all 4 and it went fine. Is there something in the rules or index I missed that says only put 2 Vert Strikers?
Ohhh daring with 4-that sounds fun! For starting raider setup (pg 4, sect 6), you’d place one raider for each die rolled, and there are two dice rolled total for starting setup! So you’d have two raiders to start with technically
Update!: I found the answer in the appendix. I was reading it wrong. “2 raider units always appear when S-class leaders emerge.(if possible, otherwise bring out as many as possible)” I forget that this isn’t Dwellings where the monsters “die” and don’t come back except for in specific situations. A raider always emerges when a new event happens and specifies what class raider is “spawned”. So your C class raider could be defeated in battle and then the next event could spawn it back. Therefore: You have a total of 4 Vert strikers but they only come out 2 at a time. If you only defeated one in battle and then the next event spawned them again there would be three on the board. If you have three on the board and they were spawned by an event, only one would come out. I hope this is cleared up for anyone else that likes to make rules too complicated.
Howlers! Hello everyone, I just discovered this game for the first time through this video, and I was really interested in it. I wanted to find a game like this for my group of friends (we are 5-6 so I’ll need the expansion for the base game) and I started searching the internet for information, but I couldn’t find some. I see that it was a campaign to pledge and that it ended, but there is a retail version, I wanted to ask if anybody knows the period in which we could expect the retail to hit the shelves. Also I’m Italian and live in Italy, I have no problem playing in English but some of my friends don’t, especially one that is dyslexic. Does anybody know a possible date/period for an Italian localisation? Also what are the features that a retail version doesn’t have in regards to a deluxe edition from the pledge? Does the expansion cover those differences, or is the expansion not a “deluxe kit”? Thanks in advance
Hey there! Thanks for the interest! Here are a couple starter answers. 1. English retail is planned for November. 2. There are 4 retail products, base game, expansion, supernova upgrade kit, exotic matter promos. 3. Italian edition is planned but there is no timeline yet. Not sure when translation will start. Not sure if Italian market will order all 4 retail products 4. The supernova kit is the deluxe pieces, trayz, box, largely language independent 5. The expansion (escalation) is what gives the game solo and 5 player Hope all that helps!
Nice tutorial. But probably won't buy or play. That combat system seems cumbersome and annoying. Imagine rolling 6 dice a bunch of times with a targeting value of 4, and you keep getting ones, twos, and threes. Is there no procedure to speed this up? At that point you could just roll the dice, halve them, and add 3. Or if the opponent has already rolled, and you can see that a bunch of 4s is enough, why even roll?
Left very much unclear... I feel like you only explain very superficial and a lot is being regarded as "already known". You also use a lot of new keywords before explaining them, which confused me. But thats just my impression. E.G. I didnt understand tsteps 3 and 4 of the battle at all... You really do reroll as long as any dice are under your targeting value? Then why is there a 1 at 12:12? What happens to moons when you choose to get their reward, e.g. putting them in a tactical slot? Are they being discarded? 18:52 where do development cards suddenly come from? Is the leader being taken from your supply or does it already have to be on the space you develop on? You show how the event track is being reset, but dont show how it is being increased (you just tell us). That makes it more difficult to understand, in my opinion.... When you explain a part of the game, please show us. Dont just tell us. Because at that point I already didnt know about the event track anymore... I would love to see a playthrough including rule explanation while playing.

You cannot discard a slotted moon for the howl ability. :) otherwise we love this wolf domination theory!

I am sad that I couldn't back it. but price was too steep for me.. luckly I managed to fnd a copy of dwelling for 90€..
When you were rolling and rerolling based on your targeting, what was the point of that if it's not used in combat?
How did you get the All-In without washes on the minis? That's exactly what i wanted, but couldn't find a pledge for it.
