And as low as $30 to buy. The 5600 can’t be beat. God tier. Just a note, the A button or “adjust/set” button on this 3229 module is only press, not hold. That’s why it’s so deeply recessed. The 3495 module, for example, is press and hold. Excellent tutorial overall! Love your G-shock videos.
Awesome, clear & slow informations. You've saved my lie as i was totally clueless & all that came in the box was the Warranty with No instructions ! Cheers dude. From the UK, England
Hi! Thank you for this amazing video :) I do have one question though. I have the G-Shock Casio 3229 Hodinkee parternship watch, and when I press the light button, the light turns on but in the background there is what appears to be a black square with an H in the middle. Do you happen to know what this could be? It makes reading the time difficult in the dark. Thank you!
Yes absolutely best I have seen as well I was around before Casio but now I understand them. I'm thinking about changing my watch band to a different color now that I understand how to set the dog gone watch
like why did they made the A button so hard to push i thought my watch is broken or something and i used a stick to push it in(it works fine)BUT ITS HELLA HARD.tnx for solving my problem man love your video👍
Not on the 5600e. If I’m not mistaken that feature is only available on solar powered g shocks because the feature would chew through batteries on non recharging models.
@@justmeeagainn You think I’m gonna carry around a specific type of pen just to press the buttons on my watch? I returned the DW5600 and got a DW-H5600 instead. Much better buttons and screen, albeit more expensive.
This is the best 5600 tutorial I’ve seen.
Thank you so much. Glad it was helpful.
I looked at several tutorials and this was by far the best and most comprehensive. I’m 70 years old and I was able to set this watch. 👍
Are you dead?

Thank you! Thank you! Thank you! Finally, someone who gets me! It's the best tutorial ever! 😂
Thanks for this professional explanation
You saved me so much time. Thank you.
I love the basic square G-Shock! I have the 5610U & really love it. I definitely prefer the EL backlight on yours over the LED on mine, though!

Can you turn on/off the button tone on this model? If yes, how to do so?

How do you fix the year?

Does this watch has auto light function? When you turn your wrist the light automatically turns on?
@@venyc82 the battery powered versions do not have that option. The solar powered versions that I have tried do have that option.
Very useful thanks

TKS a lot bro
So is there a auto light feature when you flick your wrist?

God these buttons are hard to press, especially that top left one.
I use a closed pilot G2 gel ink pen tip. Seems to fit right in there perfectly.

By design - so it isn’t hit accidentally
I thought I bought a broken watch HAHAH I was so sad initially HAHA
A pity to see this episode. Just goes to show you how people don't want to figure things out no more. LMAO.. idiots.
