KAIJU NO 8 FINAL EPISODE 12 REVIEW-KAFKA HIBINO

A good send off to a banger of an anime. I did get why the commander Shinomiya did what he did. But still even a member of his team was like are you trying to kill yourself. But it was a solid ending to the season with a little taste of what's to come with no. 9.

I give it like a 6/10. Even with all the monsters, I still never really felt a sense of danger. The characters felt really generic and the dialogue sounded really cheesy. I cringed everytime Kafka talked about how he wanted to "stand by Mina's side". Every other main character wants to surpass their rival or be the strongest, but Kafka, his aim is to be a sidekick. Smh. It made him sound really pathetic. The strong points of the show was the battle animation, but other than that it didnt have much substance.

I will agree with you the battles are the selling point and I even mention it does feel too much like cough AOT cough. Still I am here for the Kaiju fights mor or less Stabs.
