Many thanks for this very helpful video. There may just be one update required as having bought the same printer in 2023 make note that the ink cartridges have been changed since this 2021 video was posted. Just check to see whether or not the colour and black cartridges have been swapped round, Basically, check beforehand whether or not the colour cartridge goes on the right or on the left as I believe it was the opposite way round on my machine. It is clearly labelled. The ink cartridges had a different serial number in 2023 too. Thanks again, the setup went fine by following your on screen instructions otherwise.

During my setup, it says "printer connected" and stays that way some time, and then out of a sudden, it says "make sure your printer is connected". I tried everything, from restarting pc to checking the USB cable, and nothing helps.
Any ideas?

Is the driver disc needed in order to start printing?

I am fummming, why do they not include USB cable to connect to the computer this is such useless product, i cannot even use it with bluetooth either.

It's disgusting that no usb cable basically I've bought a box that don't work until I buy a cable it's a JOKE. companies like this should be shut down If you can't provide all cables don't make the product.

What USB cable did you use? I can't get past the software trying to detect the printer (I have the printer connected to the PC via a USB cable), so I can't finalise the installation. Yours demosntration worked the way That I would have expected it to.

I bought this printer ua-cam.com/users/postUgkxciSwynMJ7PnUvvx11rewiu-yFBkZTl53 to replace an aging HP printer. It is just used for casual home printing so I don't need anything more. Installation went easily though the HP Smart Printing doesn't work well with our laptops - having to select the actual device. Will have to see how the HP Instant Ink program works out. Plus haven't been able to set up printing from smartphone yet - either direct or WiFi

Just start using printer. It can print alignment page anytime of using. You can scan it that time.
