- Hi there Star Wars collectors. Welcome to my review of the Star Wars The Black Series Snowspeeder in 6-inch scale which comes with Dak Ralter as a pack-in figure.
I am really impressed with this ship, its huge, it has loads of detail, and seems to be in scale with the 6-inch figures.
Let me know your thoughts in the comments.
Im loving this vehicle.. Absolutely awesome. I hope Hasbro continues making more vehicles in the 6inch line... I see they could go as far as A-wing, Rogue one imperial assault tank or At-st.
For some reason this has always been my favourite vehicle in the whole Star Wars saga
I set mine up in my office with a probe droid and everyone who visits me comments on how real it looks. They really outdid themselves. Great review!
Out of my 35-40 things I have on pre order, this is at the top of the list to get my hands on.
Ah, good ol' Dak "takin' the whole Empire by himself" Ratler ! - -
His hubris truly was his undoing - wasn't it ? ~
The minute he said that, I knew...’he’s dead’ 🤣
@@QuackersAhoy - The guy was asking for it ~
Great video. That snowspeeder is very well detailed. I like the fact that it has a place for the grapple and grenades.
Keep up the good work.
Can’t wait to get for my collection.
I had the original snowspeeder toy back then. It was a fantastic toy.
Holy moly that thing is massive!
Man that is even better than I expected
Imagine the size of the AT-AT you're going to need to fit that through the legs of
The size of a small horse! 🤣💙👌🏼
haha exactly, hence why 3.75 is the best.
That AT-AT will be the size of a small horse or large pony. 😂
Great Video!!!! Very Very nice vehicle!!!! Its huge!!!! Could you imagine a Falcon in the Black Series!?!?! Oh man!!!!!
That looks... awesome!! Hoth was always my favorite planet!!
I love this ship, I still have my childhood Kenner, and in comparison is a beast! The detail is amazing, and the Dak figure is a great addition. My only gripe with it are the flimsy landing gear doors. They like to pop off on opening.
I didnt have an issue with mine, but the air brakes popped off pretty easy!
I have another version of the 3.75 scale one it came in a box and it too came with a Dak figure.
@@kuldipbinning1989 I think I have the VC snowspeeder with Dak and Luke. I bought it 2nd hand, and sadly I'm missing the side panel. Snowspeeders have been my favourite since Empire came out!
I have one I got it a few years ago it has aurebesh on some bits of the ship
Beautiful piece, Hasbro nailed this it's just like the model that they used in the movie, I'm glad I have this in my collection.
So awesome. Can wait for BBTS to ship mine!
Perfection would’ve been some electronics with the Snowspeeder.
Great Review! Can't wait for Mine to get here. I think We'll eventually get an X-Wing in the Black Series, maybe Two. An Original Trilogy/Red 5 and Sequel/Poe Dameron's version.
Just kudos; this was the first review of this vehicle I saw and it is perfectly accurate as per my own experience of having the Snowspeeder now for close to three weeks.
A wonderful tribute to one of the greatest battle scenes of the Star Wars Universe.
Saw the thumbnail and your video got an immediate like. Really glad you got one Bossk. Looking forward to snagging my own next week
Hope you enjoy it!
Fantastic review! Just opened mine and watched your review to make sure I didn't miss any features, especially since (unbelievably) it doesn't come with an instruction manual!! Very thorough as always 😀👍
Very nice review, super detailed ship, I do miss the electronics Tim, I think it brings a little magic to the ship, 👍
That's a pretty big ship! I always loved the Rebel Snowspeeder from ESB, particularly with the David vs. Goliath aspect it had going on facing the Empire's monstrous AT-AT walkers. I have this set on its way to me and I'll have to find some place to display it. Can only imagine the size of an in-scale AT-AT to match the Snowspeeder!
It's F*****g awesome!!!! Looks great, but only minor details: The once cloced, cockpit isn't easy to get opened. The flaps ain't easy to open. Paint applications are nicely done. Luke as a pilot in Hoth is sold separately,
Got two of these bad boys delivered today, one to display and one to keep MISB. Really pleased with the speeder, its a great size, very well made and detailed, and not too heavy. Thought about getting a mint / graded vintage snowspeeder not so long ago as it was one of my favourite toys as a kid, but cant be bothered now lol!
Great video pal
Thanks 👍
Wow man! I don’t do the 6 inch scale but there is no denying, that is a fantastic ship! Thank you for covering all the details. Very nice pick up indeed!
Great review!! Going to have to get this one now that I’ve seen it displayed on your video. An At-At is needed now but WOW! Is that going to be expensive. Lol. Take care.
I bought it and I looks fantastic top marks.
Love the snowspeeder. One of my favourite OT vehicles.
Congratulations my friend!!! What an amazing replica. I can hear the excitement in your voice. I wish I had space. If I got this it would be stuck in the box. ENJOY and thank you for sharing your Bounty!! Cheers!
They could maybe do Darth Vaders Tie fighter.
Great vid. Mine turned up this morn and now worried where im going to display it and keeping my young son away from it, lol! This is my first black series vehicle apart from my all time fave the speeder bike, gotta love the speeder bike! Thanks again, keep up the good work.
Just waiting for the 6'' scale AT AT now. Had to purchase a additional Luke to display with it. Liked it so much its my first purchase i've unboxed.
Wasn't expecting to see these in stores. Picked up one tonight at GameStop. Can't wait to open it.
One of the better looking BS6" vehicle in this line hands down!!
I've got one on the way in the mail!! Only thing I'm not liking is the fact that the seats are made to where you cannot bend the figures legs. They will just be sitting in the cockpit with their legs straight out, which would realistically be quite uncomfortable. Still a great Vehicle, especially for seating two six inch figures.
Excellent review Bossk! The Snowspeeder is my favorite
Star Wars vehicle. Like you, the first thing I'd do is compare it with my vintage model! I've always stayed away from Black Series ships but I've got to get my hands on this one. The Luke Snowspeeder pilot is an awesome piece as well and is perfect for this vehicle. Love the channel! Keep it up brother!
Absolutely amazing! I love all the details, just brilliant! Dak looks amazing too. Some power features and lighting would have been nice on a vehicle this size. Great video Tim, you've lifted Star Wars spirits after watching the Hasbro livestream yesterday. Lol.
Different scales and don’t have the Snowspeeder yet but I’m going to say that it beats the vintage line Slave One
Of course it does. It's all-new at a larger scale while the Slave 1 is a repainted 7-year-old repack.
Fantastic! I’m looking forward to getting mine now. Like you, I have no idea yet where I’m going to put it though. But I guess that’s a fun problem to have. Great review as always!
Finally got my hands on this!!!
Excellent review. Thank you! This is bloody nifty, but I just can't venture into 6"-scale vehicles, for considerations of the amount of space they take up alone, let alone cost.
Excellent Set ... looks awesome Tim
I remember having that original 3.75 scale one myself.
Such great detail 👍
I feel like an Awing can be possible. I’m sure some ships would be too big
Hopefully we’ll see a 6” A-Wing for the Return of the Jedi anniversary
Looks epic man... well reviewed as usual. I won't be going out of my way for this nor paying over the odds... but I'd defo like one. One of my absolute fave ships. 👌🏼💙 O.O.K
I am just stuck for where to put it!
@@BossksBounty I'm sure you are!
Thanks, i was trying to figure out where the grappel hook went. I'd rather keep it in the cockpit than leave it in the box. Shame there wasn't more diagrams showing where everything should be fixed. And thank you for the rope locker hint. I didn't realise that could open until you showed me. I have a 40th Anniversary Luke Snowspeeder pilot in the front of my Snowspeeder now and everything is squared away. No idea how i'm going to display this, storing the box is even more of a pain.
Any issues with the left side of the cockpit not fully closed as the right side does?
@@Splinterjn Actually it is the right side of the cockpit that doesn't close fully on my Snowspeeder.
I’m so glad I bit the bullet and pre ordered this 😆 fantastic in-depth review man! Fingers crossed mine comes today!!! Thumbs up!
Thanks Daniel
Looks awsome, can't wait for mine, hopefully on July 3rd.
Hope you enjoy it!
Very nice!
Awesome review Bossk! Can't wait to get mine!
I do wish they'd added the electronics like my 90s 3.75
I have to get this.
Bring on the black series AT-AT! :)
Very nice, even for a 6" offering.
Epic review
That's a great looking speeder mate , looking at the state of 3.75 at the mo in looking more and more at black series. 🤔
Okay I saw it thank you very much🌙🐺☀️🐺
very cool
Great review! ! ! !
Thanks!
Glad you got it..wow it's amazing..mine got held back until July..the detail and paint work is unbelievable..so much to see..yeah it's fairly big but compared to the First Order TIE Fighter..now that thing takes up space and not as well detailed..it is good though..cheers Tim, great review 🍺🍺🍻
Thanks mate, that TIE is just huge, it’s why I never thought they would attempt vehicles again
That is on my wishlist looks amazing
Sweet video Boosk , mine's coming soon from Star Action Figures can't wait. I do think they could do the A-wing , Cloud Car & even Vader's Tie Advanced. I would love a X-wing & Y -wing & not worried about display space as that's why God invented ceilings :) .
Great review, even though I only collect 3.75 this is very tempting
Nice review and a nice looking snowspeeder. Lots of great detailing. I think they could have done a better job with the retractable tow cable.
AT-ST all the way. They can do it at a reasonable price just like this one. ROTJ 40th anniversary😉
To be in scale, it’d be the size of a small horse
@@danieljeyn9847 AT-ST not AT-AT
Love a AT-AT this size it be Awsome
I can’t wait to get mine. Very good review
Hi Tim, understand that you like many of us are big fans of the 3.75inches vintage collection. with the continue build up to more and more 6inches and it’s vehicle collection have u ever once felt that the 6inches are a more fun collection to play with compared to 3.75inches? just wanna hear your thoughts.
No chance buddy, there’s no way we will ever have an AT-AT to go with this. 3.75 is my focus but I get the odd Black Series
Bossk's Bounty Awesome bro! Thanks for sharing. May the force be with you and may 3.75 be with us always!
Love your channel. Have you done a comparison of the vintage and black series landspeeder? I’m curious about what the size difference is and can’t find any side by side comparison anywhere. Thanks!
Thanks mate. I don’t have the black series one unfortunately
Show me how to say no to this, how can I say no to this. The situations helpless, and that toy is screaming hell yes.
I'm not keen on the foggy canopy glass.
It looks like they've been smoking a joint in there! I guess that's why they call him Dak!
Now you get it!
Nice speeder tim 👌 That black series one ain't bad either ! 😃
The Black Series one wont be pushing the Vintage one out thats for sure.
@@BossksBountyfor sure ! started an IG account there I'll be putting plenty of vintage up in the future if you want to take a look sometime. Deathstar1973 , very original I know Lol 🙂
Huge ship great review
Would LOVE to see a X-Wing.
Also how much was this?
Cool speeder for TBS. Not my cup of tea though (3.75er here :))
Matt N why they are to small 😂 imo
@@hyperfire1134 For me, I grew up with the line, so it holds a special place in my heart. I have no beef with TBS (and no room to store them lol!), but I'm sticking to the heritage line.
Cool, there's only 2 I want for 6 in. scale Han and Chewbacca
I opened my Luke plus orderd another one.
😍😍😍😍
Looks amazing! Wish I could get it, but I'm maxed out on funds for other Black series and VC pre-orders and have nowhere to put it at the moment!!!
I am struggling to work out where its gonna go
Bit disappointed it doesn't come with a stand to simulate flight mode.
But what about that cloudy cockpit glass? I was fully expecting you after opening it to peel off what looks like protective plastic screen... alas it remained for the review duration.
Is it protective screen you do not not want to remove it...?... or is the glass just a cloudy plastic?.
The light highlights it more than it really it but its supposed to be like that. Nothings brand new in Star Wars, got to look rustic and used like the rest of the ship I guess.
I just think of it as Fogging from the Cold. 😁
@@BossksBounty just peel the protective screen off Tim! 😉
Looks Awesome & Great Review
Thanks!
Lost Luke's lightsaber handle in this, opened it all up still can't find it,
but it's somewhere behind a bit of plastic i can hear it rattle about but I can't get to it aaaawhhhh
Awesome, you covered everything apart from the size of the box, I think it's about 18 inch across. Unlike the 3.75 scale version there is no harpoon. Hopefully I should receive mine in the next few days. Just wondering like other reviewers, you don't watch other reviewers until you have completed your own?
No I try to avoid other reviews. I had a good idea of what this thing could do from seeing it in the flesh at toy fair. Not watching others is usually the reason why I miss some detail or feature!
Wish they would release an updated Vintage collection version
Me too!
Luke Skywalker: Dak. DAK!
It’s funny you call it a mammoth because I’ve seen another review where the guy referred to the two attachments in front as tusks. I always love the movies that show enthusiastic characters and then a minute later that’s the end of that. I wonder if uncle Owen thought he could take on the entire empire by himself
Turn the ship around 🎶
They’re not gonna get me without a fight.
... Leia knows where luke is..... Family guy
Aren't some of the ships meant for 3.5 inch right. This is perfect for My 6 inch
Imagine a Black Series AT-AT
Guess what I've just bought.... haha
I think we need an x wing asap
Great review! Who did you pre-order with if I can ask? I've had one on order for months
In Demand Toys
Dak feeling alright sir
Luke just like new dak how bout you
Dak right now I feel like I can take on the whole empire myself
Luke I know what you mean
Such a great film!
Can the do a melinnium falcon already?
Really nice review. Is there any of the loose pieces that once you put them on they don't come off again? I'm looking at you FO TIE fighter wings. I won't be able to display this yet but have to take it out to look at it, just want to be sure I can get it back in the box. Thanks
Yea it all disassembles
@@BossksBounty excellent! Thank you sir
if you want to restore the vintage snow speeder try 40 volume peroxide cream by jerome russll blonde from savers £1.35 it worked on my big falcon in 4 hours i left in the sun
I know that works but I would rather keep as is.
I pre-ordered mine from GAMESTOP but I don't know when I'll be getting it because of the pandemic. Sucks.
Not good buddy!
See I just don't get Hasbro, how can they put out quality like this or any other black series vehicle & Slave 1 all being very expensive, but the give us that shitty Carbon freezing figure stand! It just astounds me🤯🤔. Great review mate. Cheers🍻👍
