Fusing the past with the present is what made Hip Hop production in the 90's so dope. With the exception of a few producers that we have today, there was a great deal more versatility and creativity in the 90's. That's why we so called trapped in the 90's cats love that era so much. When you hear beats like this, who cares if the individual used software or hardware to make it. If it's gotcha nodding your head then you have to then them their props for making you move. Peace.
Niggaz is trapped in the 90's. A hot beat is a hot beat no matter what you use to make it. How do you think the bands feel when you take their music, chop it and loop it, and think you hot when they were the ones playing it.
@BeatsNRhyms that hooks up my speakers and mics, and its not even a mixer, you ask where the swing is? LOL thats why you record it live duhh... or use the swing knob, you need a good ear and skills to make music on software to, point is, if you suck at music, you will always suck regardless of the method you use to make it, unless you practice and learn your shit, just like if your good at music, then you can make it any method if you get used to it, i guarantee if you gave me a mpc and let me
khrysis has now an mpc yeah, but for this beat he used fl studio, clearly, plus it aint fruity loops man,its fl studio ahahah fruity loops is how they called it ages ago, they sell it now as fl studio ,and i have to agree this instrumental sounds very much fl studio,i think the only machine sounds good standart is an mpc,it gives that raw timing, you can clearly hear krhysis nowdays on mpc he moved up,i prefer his mpc beats over this beats anyday, just my personal opinion
spit so many bars/got rhymes from here to Mars/intergalactic/never dramatic/got tactics/with practice/while u lack tact/in fact/u rat/gotta scrap up for some cheese but watch out for them traps/beat is so ill/when u say he is so real/i know u describin/my rhymin/in scribes/or scrolls/i patrol/my foes/a hip hop policeman i suppose/who goes/toe to toe...
@BeatsNRhyms the samples, then you gotta match it to the tempo, then you gotta filter some and eq to get the right sound or take out or minimize certain aspects of the sample, then you gotta arrange it, then you gotta throw a base line down and come up with some drums, then you gotta mix it down, how is then hardly any different from hardware? i don't know what the fuck is wrong with you, but i make real hip hop, and i do it on software, the only hardware i have is a midi keyboard, and a box
@BeatsNRhyms actually i do have one beat posted, and you don't have to tell me, cause i know its not very good, its one of my first beats which i made 4 and a half years ago and i actually didn't put any effort in it. i'm not getting emotional over an opinion, because how you stated your opinion, was as if it were fact, which it is not. and i am not acting like i'm some big producer, but i am definitely better then you, and i don't judge people for their methods of making beats.
@cronicjointpain you talk alot but yet that beat on youre page shows you really shouldent you still need to learn alott man!!!come back in 10 years then talk to me about music ;)
hiphop was 2 turntable and skills not a pc where you draw shit, hiphop used to be back in the days made with samplers(live work)any kid can make on fl studio or reason a good beat with mousbutton, still feel the same, its unreal to me,i mean you can draw with an pencil, but where is the swing then?thats the problem with this pc cats nowdays, they can program piano rolls on software, but cant make a beat with an mpc or an sampler(wich need good ear & skills)
well if her way is clicking to make music so be it,but real artist dont like that, how was music played??with hand,so if she wanne make it with mousebuttons is cool, but she will sound very tyte in sequencing instead of having that loose feeling,to me an artist that makes with mousbuttons aint real, perio,i can tell wich beat is fl studio reason or whatever, mpc,s still the best, plus you need to do everything live, and if you can do thatYOUR A REAL MUSICIAN,any kid can mousebutton a beat
plus i was producing even way before pc music there,so i know wich programs give a certain sound to ya beats, like fl studio or reason, the only dude i never knew from he used fl studio was swiff d,he got the real shit, and yet you ceep talking about my mpc,ive nopticed alot of cats hate people on a mpc cause they cant affourt one,why els would ya stuck on fl or reason(wich is amateur)if you can buy real synths and sampler(wich sounds 10000000000 x better)i just use cubase & pro tools as soft
@BeatsNRhyms fuck with it for 20 minutes, i would figure it all out and make tight beats on that to, and i've never used a mpc, sure any body can use software and make a beat, just like anybody can use hardware and make a beat, but it doesn't mean their good, i am just as hip hop as hip hop could ever be, and i use software, its just easier and cheaper that way, not to mention i don't even sample most of my shit, i usually compose everything from scratch, and that my friend takes skill. so quit
@BeatsNRhyms from how my beats turn out, you'd think i've been doin this shit for thirty years, and you would think i was formely trained in music, but i haven't and i'm not LOL what ever tho man i ain't tryin to start a youtube beef i know how pathetic some of you can be on here, but yeah, point is don't hate on the method, if it sucks it sucks, the method is not the cause, so do you make any beats that don't use samples? sampling is easy shit, so quit actin like your special anybody can make
@cronicjointpain i dont care what you think !!!! my music is easy found on youtube or the internet you act like a big producer but i bet you dont even have music posted up youre youtube lol dont get emotional over a opinion lol
@BeatsNRhyms a sampled beat LOL composing takes REAL skill. maybe i'll post some of my throwaways ta prove a point, but i don't think its worth the effort. 10 years LOL right, like you actually know about music LOL funny.
@BeatsNRhyms yeah, and as i stated before, that was one of my first beats, its years and years old, and i didn't put any effort into it, your the one who shouldn't talk buddy, your shit is wack, my shit is professional quality, all i need to do is work on my mixing a bit, and i'll be makin bank, i haven't posted any of my beats other then that one, because anybody can go on youtube and steal somebodies beat, and i don't have copyrights filed on them, but lets just say i've evolved quite a bit
you dudes are losing sight of what really matters here. He sounds good, his production is tight, end of story. fucking haters need to stop crying, let him get his.
