Funny you should ask who he's singing to... So allow me to shed some light.
Before the creation of Sleep Token a deity known to Vessel as Sleep came to him in a dream. This dream of love and happiness shook him to the core, so upon waking upset to be returned to this convoluted reality he created Sleep Token in hopes of calling out to this deity, for it to return to him, and to worship.
The songs are concidered by the band (and the fans) as offerings.
(Token= a form of payment or offering)
They hold concerts and create songs so that all may Worship with them.
So its believed that many, if not all, of Sleep Token's songs are to this deity.
Think of it as the gospel of Sleep straight from the book of Vessel told in the oldest living language known to man, a language that transcends all cultutes, music.
This song is so pure. Even though I love all their songs, this one is a hidden gem.👌

The drum stuff from II is cool. Dark Signs or Jaws are older but amazing
2 songs I think you should checkout are "Bloodsport" (From the room below) version and "Missing Limbs". No heavy stuff in these 2 songs but man his vocals are amazing on these 2 tracks. Bloodsport is all piano and Missing Limbs is acoustic guitar.

Can we have an air drum competition? I feel like a lot of y’all aren’t hitting the double bass properly with the feet, and your not crashing the high hat with the release of pressure on the toes. Cuz if your not then y’all’s air drumming is rookie level at best
