I sat down to put on my shoes, and my shih tzu hopped up on the couch and placed her paws on my leg trying to get closer to see what I was doing

Whenever I'm upset or not feeling well, my Malinois will bring her favorite toys and place them either on my lap or next to me. I think that's her way of making things better ❤
This is the reason why I'm such a huge animal lover
We had a very large dog when we adopted a very tiny kitten. They became best buddies. He taught her to wag her tail when she was happy, and she taught him to purr. We thought at first that he was growling, but it didnt take long to figure it out.
I so really miss having kitties over the past few years of my childhood!
I say sleeping with a pet is the best part. My cat and dog love that most and they love to sleep with me every night. I'm proud to be a beloved pet owner. Unlike teddy bears, your pets actually love you back!

I've been fond of animals ever since I was a baby, and I even have a special way with animals. They tend to be fond of me as well.
Definitely head butts and circling around my legs and their tails going back and forth. Also these cat's love to smell my hair and kiss my forehead. Now that's definitely love ❤️
I’d lay down in my mother’s bedroom ready to eat dinner because my mother says that I can eat in her room as long as I don’t make a mess or clean up any crumbs if I do make a mess. My cat, who I’ve had since I was 5 or 6 years old, she would stick her head in my food and I would have to shoo her away since the dinner would be something like soup or meatloaf that she wouldn’t be able to have or wouldn’t like.
I know that’s not exactly a favorite memory, but it is the most memorable.
Thank you for the update, MsMojo..!! Recently, I came across multiple UA-cam videos of animals smiling on camera. They didn't look like they were faked, and it felt surreal to watch them smiling, because they seemed to be evolving to be like humans.
I can remember decades ago.. when I wasn't even 10.. I had a snow white Alaskan husky with crystal blue eyes, as the family dog. Until we lost him due to a 4th of july event.. he was my shadow, my confidant, my bodyguard, my best friend, and my pillow. I'd remember so fondly the times I fell asleep on the floor under my favorite blanket with him either as my pillow or my pillow was up against him, near the fireplace on christmas eve.. HE was and still is the only breed of dog that I truly truly love. I'm now a cat person, but that particular type of dog holds a golden and very very special place in my heart for as long as he was with me when I was little.
This video is making me feel some conflicted emotions. I feel happy that I can remember how my cat and dog would do these things and how adorable it was. I also feel sad knowing that they are no longer around to do those things. God, do I miss them...
I’m so sorry for your loss… I know how you feel. I had a dog when I was little and loved her. Had to put her down when I was a young adult cause she had hip displasia. I still miss her to this day

I will that a cat purring & vocalizing is a sign that they love you as a kid I had mostly cats and dogs as I got older my sister,my brother and me were able to have our own pets my brother would always have a dog,my sister would go from having a cat to having a dog and myself I would always have a cat like this one time I had a cat name Star she was mostly black with a little white patch on her chest she would go on my pillow curl her body around my head put her face were my ear was and purr in it it helped me fall asleep after her we had gotten another cat years later that we named him fang he was my mom's cat because I had gotten a dog named Nina but any way my mom's cat Fang was so adorable he would rub against you and purr and when you looked down at him and said what do you want he would look up at you and meow he would also run up to you and meow when you would call him or say his name like he was saying yes I am right here you called

My good boys Whitianga (pronounced fitty-ang-ga) and Monkey come visit me often. Monkey loves to make biscuits on throw blankets, and Fitty loves chin scratches and belly rubs. He also loves to be brushed. Both of my boys have their motors running.
My family had a female Rottweiler named Mayday. She showed me that Rottweilers can be affectionate, friendly, and sweet. When she wanted her head to be scratched, she would come up to you, put her head on your lap, and stare up at you. It was adorable. She would also dance and jump when you said, "Walk Mayday."

My dog who’s 19 loves sleeping with me. He was originally my lil brothers dog but at the time he doing high school football, school work and then dating he didn’t have time to care for him properly. First night together when he was still a pup i didn’t plan on letting him sleep on my bed he had his own bed on the floor but he kept on crying to be with me until i gave in. We were apart for about 3yrs when i moved out and then when we got back together he was so happy to be with me again it was nice having my cuddle partner child with me

I have been a dog owner since I was a baby. Over the years I had dogs who not only just showed me love by sleeping in bed with me, wagging their tails, and yes of course licking my face. They would also bark at potential threats and even chases away intruders. Couple of incidents back around early 2010's when we had a black Labrador one early morning before sunrise I let her out to do her business when suddenly she started growling and barking at something by my shed. Then I saw her chased away a shadowy person as she chased him away. Another was told to me by my mom is when I was a baby we had a bulldog who always watches over me in our front yard then one day he protected me when he actually killed a snake in our yard to keep me safe
My MIL's cat would climb up on me, put her head on my shoulder, and nap. She'd purr in her sleep as well.
The cats also send a "kiss" in the air by blinking their eyes
You forgot dogs giving you one of their toys.
Shortly after I had my son. Every time I was in the chair feeding him, our Great Dane would drop one of her toys in my lap. As he got older and he could hold the toys she gave the toy directly to him.
When I'm sitting close to my dog he lifts my arm with his snout for me to pet him.

Yep.That's sweet true.They also laying down during petting(it's call pancake),yawning, and geting their little leggies out.Even they feel really cheel they sleeping with their eyes closed and twiching their tiny ears.They are totally adorble!. I had 7 of them.Now I have the eight in line. Long hair abisynian girl ,4 years old Surprise. I could die for her.🥰😇💘💝❤🧡💚💛💜💙

I had a neighbor's cat that had a cat door at his house but he must of got out of the house some how. And one night it was very, very cold and the weather man or woman said something to the effect make sure that your animals are inside. Well this particular night I came home. from Choir practice and I thought that I heard something meowing and I turned on the outside light and bingo there was the neighbors cat! And me being an animal lover couldn't leave him outside. I brought him inside, he was cold and he was wet from being in the snow. I grabbed a bath towel and rubbed him down until he was good and warm and purring away. I then decided to keep him in our house, I couldn't bear the thought of him being outside. After awhile he had fallen asleep and I put and dry towel around him and went to sleep and the next morning I thought I was fluffing up the pillow instead I was fluffing up the cat!
Every time I see a video about a dog I just start crying I Miss my dog she passed await 😢

My black cat, Shadow, always slept with me especially after I would be gone for a long time after vacation.
He would constantly be around me after vacation times too showing that he misses me.
I miss Shadow. ;(
Every time I pet my dogs, my black golden retreiver, Foster, and my lab, part Westie, dog, Tucker, even with other two past dogs.
We always had eye contact and I would feel the bond. :)
My brown tabby cat, Ellie, is extremely talkative.
She's always happy to be with me.
I had three other cats before her and Shadow and they always loved me too. :)

I've got 2 dogs, 1 small and 1 big. The big 1 always love having her belly rubbed. She's addicted to it. The small one sleeps with me every night.

Shih Tzus tend to lick their owners a lot. I know this because my mom and I own a Shih Tzu pup and it licks us all the time.
