What's unique is the soft and highly customizable articulations. At first, I thought it was a phrase only library, but with the recent massive update, it's so much more. I'm considering purchasing this, but the system requirements just say Free KONTAKT PLAYER or KONTAKT, not even the Kontakt version. The version of Kontakt that I have is 6.8.0. Is this version supported?

Yes, if you buy when a product is released and then upgrade KOMPLETE, you effectively purchase the product twice. As a KOMPLETE owner and regular upgrader since at least KOMPLETE 6 or before, I have gotten bit quite a few times. I have begged and pleaded with NI to give credit in the upgrade price for items already purchased. But they don't seem to get it or seem to care. MANY companies give you a break, if not MOST. Arturia comes to mind. Valves Pro are some beautiful horns. So I have to struggle with whether or not having them for a year or so is worth the price. If you plan to upgrade KOMPLETE (as I do), you're effectively paying the equivalent of a subscription price of 249 to have it for a year. ????

So, while I am flabbergasted by the amazingness of this library, I feel inclined to ask, why was this not part of the "Session horns"? It is already quite "close", but now I have to pay a full new plugin if I want this, instead of just upgrading my current copy.
Hey Mateo, Valves focuses on warm brass tones rather then a six-piece horn ensemble so some instruments are not included in this library, like saxophones and trumpets for example.

SWAM still has the edge over this. But I love what’s possible from this plugin. Rich sound!

Not for sound. No chance. I have tested them. SWAM sounds more digital. This sounds rich as you put it.

Hi William, trumpets are not part of this plug-in as our main focus is on warm brass tones. 🙂
