If going back through time and changing things creates chaos and loopholes. I’d assume pure time itself when left uncontrolled in the form of lightning and electricity in the past would create some kind of problem. Especially since the author didn’t specify that the powers dissipated instead it was “rippled through the time stream itself” so I can presume based on how Zolomon creates cracks in time all that uncontrolled power should theoretically destroy that specific time stream. Meaning that Zoom just didn’t exist at least not the best friend Zoom.
On the one hand, I don't like the Eobard retcon because it gets rid of the natural tragic element that truly made him Wally's opposite (at the time). On the other hand, at least this retcon doesn't have everyone acting out of character.
If you’re ever interested, I’d recommend looking into Daniel West, the Reverse Flash introduced in the New 52 and ended up on the Suicide Squad. I think he’s got an interesting story that was ultimately got cut short in the Suicide Squad
What's even funnier is that he didn't even need to time travel to fix his legs, he could literally just call in a favor with the 5+ future tech billionaires he knows personally for his friend. The moral of the story is, the flash is an asshole.
Honestly i'd be mad too if i knew there's a literal time machine in the museum dedicated to my friend and it could be used whenever. Imagine just having that as public knowledge. If there's no intention to use it then it should be destroyed, especially when the person with the key is just going to say "it's dangerous bro" like i'd be incredibly pissed.

I watched your Reverse flash video two days ago and after that i wanted to know who Hunter was and then you release this. Great video and thanks for fuelling my hyperfixation for the two characters
The thing about Hunter Zolomon is that his stated goal is to make The Flash (and other heroes) better by putting them through a torturous and likely fatal test. He believes that if they survive his test they will be better for it. When he faced the Justice League, he mentioned that Sinestro put Hal Jordan (Green Lantern) through the same kind of test that Zoom did to The Flash...and that he emerged better for it. He also questioned Superman, Wonder Woman, and Batman, what makes them better.
I love this video.😊 thank you for making it. Hunter Zolomon is one of my favorite characters, and you did him justice in this video. On your thoughts on whether he’s irredeemable or not. I disagree with you, but I see your point. It’s been pointed out that you can make a case that Hunter Zolomon is actually a realistic mentally ill person who needs therapy, unlike The Joker. That doesn’t justify his crimes, and I understand if you disagree with me, but in the right circumstance if he’s in prison and given therapy, he could likely reform. Tragically, in current comics, it may be too late for him. A character related to Hunter that I really am interested in tragically never lived up to her potential is Hunter's ex-wife Ashley Zolomon. Ashley Zolomon is a character that is just as interesting as Hunter and suffered as much tragedy as him, and while she didn’t break like her ex-husband, she’s been through a lot. Ashley Zolomon lost her father because of her husband's mistake, divorced her husband, and months later found out that her husband became a supervillain. She gave up her career at the FBI to help her husband. Aside from making peace with Wally West, she could not allow her husband and unfortunately disappeared because of the reboot, though she reappeared in flash #800. I said it before, but Ashley Zolomon is a character with a lot of potential. Unfortunately, because of her limited appearances, mainly because of the reboots, she never lived to her potential. What people don’t understand is what sacrifice Ashley Zolomon made for her ex-husband. Ashley Zolomon was a member of the FBI, and it showed that she was the best of the best even if it wasn’t stated, and she just walked away from her career to take a position that’s implied to be beneath her to help her ex-husband. Ashley Zolomon only said that her new job with a step down from her career at the FBI; I really wish that we had enough time to get her thoughts on her giving up her job at the FBI, and also not mentioned Ashley Zolomon must have friends and colleagues at the FBI, how would she have felt having to give up those relationships to get a new job that’s beneath her and how would they think about Ashley Zolomon throwing away her career to help her ex-husband. There, Ashley Zolomon's view of the divorce, it was made clear that Ashley views leaving Hunter as a terrible mistake and feels great guilt, she also made it clear that she will never leave Hunter again, and it’s implied that when she reformed him, she will remarry him. I would’ve loved to see Alshely's thoughts on her divorce before Hunter transformed into a supervillain and see her learn of Hunter's transformation and her decision to leave the FBI to help Hunter. I just wanted to mention this character because I’m also a big fan of Ashley Zolomon, and I hope she reappears soon in comics and gets a proper story. I wish someone would make a video of her, but I’m not sure if there’s enough info on this character for a video. But again, thank you for making this great video.

What’s funny to me is that comic savatar has this glatitorial spin on the same outfit as the both the reverse flash/ professor zoom, and Zoom. Imagine all 3 of them show up to a situation and they’re like “Well 2 of us are going to have to change.”
Imo the funniest tragedy Zolomon endured is when he got his @ss kicked by the Pied Piper during a botched interrogation in Iron Heights. The Pied Piper beat Zolomon with his own cane, breaking it in half before the guards rush in. The reason? Hunter said he didnt like music.

While Barry was travelling back in time and rewinding the universe, The Reverse Flash was also time travelling and was basically disconnected from the timeline. When Flash finally reached the time he wanted to go to and saved his mother, it completely changed the events of the future, causing massive alterations in history and therefore a change in the timeline of the future which was supposed to erase or at least change the life of Thawne since the world was at war. With Thawne's case though, due to being disconnected to the timeline from time travelling, he was prevented from being erased by Barry's time travelling but he still originated and existed from a timeline that no longer exists, therefore having no past and no future, making him a paradox.
Zoom is One of my favorite Villains from the Flash and he's really cool too
Thawne = Barry's hater
Zoom = Wally's hater
Thawne a fanboy too
Geoff Johns Flash run was so good. He is the reason Wally west is the better flash.
Mark waid run already proved that
I personally would like to hear you talk about Black Manta, the dude is even pettier than Eobard to me
Nah threatening to go back in time and saying "I'd become your adoptive father" is the pettiest thing ever
@@l0sts0ul89 honestly thinking back, Manta wins in pure hatred alone, dawg thought he killed Aquaman, goes back fo living a normal life, but when he discovered that he was still alive he kills all the people in the place he was working in and goes back in being a villain
@@godoitopslex luther is right up there with both reverse flash and black manta lol in one comic he gave a person cancer then cured the person then gave them cancer again lol
@@shido_rimru_not to mention that said person is his own sister who's on a wheelchair. And also doing it in front of his own daughter 😂
@@isiaharellano3789Ik we’re talking dc, but green goblin is definitely up there too. Bro did the miscarriage thing that zoom did, but somehow far worse
Villains are really important. Because they change the main character make him worse or better. And zoom is no exception he changed Wally ,made him question his morals and killed his children. But we all know only thing he needs is just a few good ribs at barbecue
Love your videos! Thank you for telling this story!
Normal villains: i going to deafeat you
Flash villains: i hate you
Zolomon doesn't hate Wally
“I fit the profile.” That goes kinda hard, ngl.
Oh man I got caught off guard by the title. Thought we were gonna start talking about the Tim Allen movie. Haha!
Just watched that movie today lmaoo
@@Mulletman_ComicsI love it but it because I grew up on it but man, I just remember the scene with the fat kid jumping into the pool and just… I just can’t.
3:29 never forget.
For anyone wondering the song at the end of this amazing video is What Once Was by Her’s
Im glad they changed zoom in the flash cw show to actually have noticable differences
Zoom is the personified message of 'Heroes mostly dies but if they're lucky, they live long enough to become a villian'
On the one hand, I don't like the Eobard retcon because it gets rid of the natural tragic element that truly made him Wally's opposite (at the time). On the other hand, at least this retcon doesn't have everyone acting out of character.
YOOOO I LOVE "What Once Was"! Banger outro song.
If you’re ever interested, I’d recommend looking into Daniel West, the Reverse Flash introduced in the New 52 and ended up on the Suicide Squad. I think he’s got an interesting story that was ultimately got cut short in the Suicide Squad
"Spector is just watching them"💀💀
I’m pretty sure Hunter is just “Zoom” and Reverse Flash is “Professor Zoom”
When Mullet Man Makes A Video, I Am Happy
Zoloman's anger was misdirected at wally, when it should've been at the gorilla that crippled him.
It the later stories Hunter proceeds to kill bunch of gorillas while he's in a flash suit considering himself a hero
What's even funnier is that he didn't even need to time travel to fix his legs, he could literally just call in a favor with the 5+ future tech billionaires he knows personally for his friend.
The moral of the story is, the flash is an asshole.
8:35, yo, Death Battle reference, nice
You know what I would love? A Reverse- Reverse-Flash, someone who hates Eaobard or Zalomon so much that he's as petty as them to them.
It's wild how the flash doesn't just go to batman or the justice league to make his boy some bionic legs 🤷🏽♂️
Hunter just goes by Zoom, profesor Zoom and Reverse Flash are names Thawne used more.
I love that story. It has real consequences and shows that not even superheroes are perfect. They are all just human.
i'd love to see either Zolomon or Thrawne dropped off in the Marvel Universe.
An interesting flash video with a What Once Was by Her's playing us out. I wasn't ready for that.
The fact that thawne literally did all of this just so wally could also have a guy ruining his life, just speaks volumes to the type of hater this man eobard is
Imagine watching your pregnant wife fall in slow motion and you can't help.
I’d tell killer moth about it, he’d know what to do
5:31 bro pulled a juggernaut from Deadpool 2
Great video boss. Zoom really is terrible for what he's done to Wally and other heroes later on. Violated Damage for no reason
Those black triangles with piercing pupils give off mad Cy-Kill vibes
Saying The Flash has never experienced tragedy is like saying Spider-Man has never experienced tragedy
If only Lazarus Pits were in keystone
*Refues to kill villains
*Sends him into what is basically hell
"No kill" Superheroes got some WACKY ass logic sometimes
Like Batman putting mfs in the hospital at 1 hp
I do like how you did a video on Wally then his nemesis, keep up the great work!
Before the CW I always thought of Zoom's "fastvoice" sounding shrill like one of those old Halloween ghost decorations. of course that's before I actually started reading comics. Looking over this I take him a bit more seriously now.
Its funny cause Wally was right.
Almost every time he changed the past, it went cataclysmicly
6:03 those had to be insane backshots.
I have to say zoom is up there with the top greatest listed DCU villians.
Reverse flash hate seeped out into Wally after the hate tube cracked
Awesome retelling
8:50 Eobard "Whose life can I ruin today" Thawne everybody.
Imagine he took a week off being a hero just to mess with zoom
Mullet Man Jams* to Hers? 😁 good taste, amigo
You know youre diabolical when the second most evil person in flash comics is a result of you messing around and of course he is only a second to you
Hunter Zoloman is Zoom. Eobard Thawne is Professor Zoom. I know that makes it more confusing, but it’s important to make that distinction
I’ll be real but Zolomon had his OG fit on that’s how fire it was
Love the video, but Hunter name is just "Zoom"
Eobard actual name is "professor Zoom" 😭

That’s Doubledown, Jeremy Tell. A cursed deck of cards got fused to his skin, so he can peel it off at will and turn his skin into what are basically flesh razor blades.
When Flash comics get dark, they almost make some of Batman's look like a My Little Ponies story. 😅
Just want to say love your work, & hope you keep it up. Also I was wondering what comics are these from, like is there a flash omnibus, that I can buy?
i think there is a flash geoff johns omnibus that covers the entirety of wally's run as the main flash. if you search it up on amazon you may find it for roughly $100 bills
What’s funny to me is that comic savatar has this glatitorial spin on the same outfit as the both the reverse flash/ professor zoom, and Zoom.
Imagine all 3 of them show up to a situation and they’re like “Well 2 of us are going to have to change.”
I always thought that Zoom’s power was dope as shit.
No way they tried the spirit bomb- I mean *Speed Syphon* twice.
Very Neitzche-like thinking, Zolomon.
Fantastic video, Mullet-Man.
I've been wondering what Hunter's deal was for a while, but never really bothered to look into it. Thanks!
Yup he's a powerful villain
I’m not gonna lie y’all, Zoom not taking the time before ruining Wally’s life to break Grodd’s back and crucify him in front of all the gorilla people was a missed opportunity.
Ah ok. Before this video, I thought Professor Zoom WAS Reverse Flash. Thanks for clearing that up.
Sometimes I can forget how brutal the flash comics can be.
The irony that homie got what he wanted, and decided to throw it away
Eobard Thawne being behind Zoom is crazy 💀, man will go to any length to fuck with the flash
