great game, love the channel. Was a little confused at the Jeskai players turn where he counters his counter. Don't get me wrong, I realize it is to increase the prowess count, however he didn't have enough to get the Narset kill that turn - so why burn all that interaction at that time? He then loses to a victimize that could have been easily countered.
I don’t think they knew how to play the deck well enough. After all, he did try to pay to cast the free copy from Narset’s combat trigger. Also missed out on possibly clearing the Orzhov’s board the turn before by not opting to swing the unblockable commander towards the guy with 3 life. Think he could’ve won that if he didn’t needlessly sacrifice his storm-kiln artist.
@@junojuno3745it was essentially this. I was learning the deck as we went along on top of not really expecting a full combo out by matt. The mentality in game was pump narset for big commander damage then get him next turn with another unblockable spell.
another well played game by every one well done smoothies that hoof pull of the itlamoc in an elf deck is scary and holly dam so meany prowess triggers and well done matt good to se a commander i am also building do so well bonza of a game guys and for the first time this year ALEX WHERE DID YOU BUY THAT PLAY MAT 🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣
We occasionally play commanders that we believe others would like to see. Ethan doesn't like Lathril but he'll play it if he things people want to see it. Although after this game I doubt he'll play it again 😆
Summoning sickness only affects attacking and activated abilities on creatures that require tapping. An activated ability that doesn't require tapping can be activated right away
We will continue to use the official language that is used in games. The language changes over time. We exile cards, create tokens, and refer to a card's mana value. Not we refer to creature type decks as kindred or typal
I love casting spells (and not reading my commander)

Itlimoc changed the course of that game for better and certainly worse 😆
For once, i can finally say i dont know. This one was a Christmas gift!
Banger game
Thanks! Glad you enjoyed it
Wait a minute... Ethan says Lathril is bad in the podcast, then plays Lathril 🤔
To be fair, he could be trying it out to just make sure his initial belief was true.

Barto funny
Awesome game
Thanks!
Rooting for Lathrill
Fairly new player here
How did matt manage to sac cruel celebrant with barto if he had summoning sickness during that turn? Or is it something else?

oh no the lathril trigger... hardcore missed. After craterhoof and lathril only made 2 elves... sadge
Does Ethan only like Lathril for content? I remember he threw shade at her in the wrinkly brain podcast🤣
rip alex its okay jeskai still the best
True. It has the good cards
I’m glad I can see the name plates instead of the game state
It’s tribal. Don’t be a coward. No real human thinks “tribal” is offensive.
Bro who tf cares
@@monklmunstrWizards of the Coast apparently does care.

No maidens?
Thanks for telling me who wins in the other episode and how. Now I don't have to watch it.
Builds are different in those episodes
