Nice showcase! really enjoy how these characters look. Necro can hit pretty hard but the chances of losing your entire army afterwards seems like a nice balance.. I like how Nevormore is used. Very small intrusions kind of Kept Gavan in the game.
These are AWESOME. PLEASE CONTINUE TO PLAY AND SHOW CASE. Question: When defending with the Raveness, if you roll multiple pairs of talons, can you deal more damage? For example he rolled 4 talons on a roll, can each defense ability be activated only once or should you have taken 4 damage?
Only one pair of talons can be used. If ability says „on”, it can be used just once, even if more are rolled. If there is an „x”, it can be used multiple times
I'm a huge fan of the game, and I know this is a friendly game to showcase what those heroes are about and how do they play. I know nothing is finalized, and these are just the prototypes, but in some moments things didn't made sense to me 10:19 - so Bone Golem ultimately costs 5 or 6 Corpses?? 18:51 - what does Gavan mean by "wasting an activation on his ability"?? If you activate Nevermore on your ability it still works just fine and in the same way, right?? 27:51 - Resurrect doesn't state you set your CP to 0, so do you lose it all or not?? It matters when your inflicted with Knockdown or Constrict, or when someone is trying to steal CP from you 29:53 - what in the world just happened with those tokens, stack limit just said "I'm outta here" Especially for new players, it may cause some difficulties during game, and I can see the argument "well the creators of the game played this way" popping in some situations, even tho they're in the wrong.
Just wondering if anyone else thought Necromancer seemed much more powerful than raveness? Seemed like it was very easy for him to get corpse points and use them, had pretty much a full compliment of corpses throughout the game and very little raveness could do to combat it. With the extra 5 health after death as well really had 3/4 turns in hand to finish off raveness?
He was definitely strong but poor Gavan unfortunately misplayed multiple times. There was a handful of stuff he could’ve done that he didn’t. I’m not saying he would’ve won but he definitely could’ve played better.
Necromancer is way too strong, at least much strong than Raveness. His abilities to gain corpses as resources and stably enhancing damages by 3-5 are insane, a bit overpowered. The designer tried to balance its overpower by a mechanic that you may lose your zombies due to bad rolls, though. Btw Raveness’s controller made a critical mistake that he was too obsessed with the 3-point full heal through Nevermore, allowing his opponent to skip rolling the Nevermore dice for once. It is so important for Raveness to have Nevermore stuck with the opponent during his upkeep phase.
@@theyoutubepro2040 I thought this too. Seems like it was way too easy to get corpse points, surely it should be very hard to get all 5 corpses on play at the same time, rather than present for most of the game. Also being able to choose which ones to get rid of rather than having to get rid of the stronger corpses first makes it easier to and cheaper to get them back out again. In conparison raveness had some abilities which only activated nevermore. Necromancer always seemed to be able to get corpse points/ additional damage, as well as deal damage.
Honestly? All the other characters in this new one is cool, they really are, but... The necromancer is the one I want most. Like, I want him more than any other character so far. He's easily the coolest one for me and almost the entire reason I'm jumping on the new box. Still sad he's not gonna be on the tabletop sim mod though. Either way, looking forward to Necromancer!
1. at 7:10 gavin did not activate nevermore when he played midnight dreary. 2. at 10:25 manny only spent 5 corpses to get the bone golem when it should of been 6. this happened again at 23:20 3. because of not spending 6 for the bone golems manny should only of gotten 1 skeletal warrior at 31:20. because of this corse explosion (prefer corpse explosion over corpseplosion) should of done less damage and manny should of lost skeletal mage or bone golem at the end of the turn. 4. manny did not lower his health when nevermore activated at 36:10. 5. manny did not take the 2 damage from aviary at 40:10. these mistakes/cheating aside I did enjoy watching these characters being played. raveness might of lasted longer in the game. not sure which character i liked more.
@@Mooncake22if both players had the same only 1 attack, and same defence, the player who started first always is going to win. That's why you have to give him disadvantage in economy, to balance things out. If both players skip Income Phase, the starting player still has the upper hand
You are rolling a die per Undead, not assigning specific die to a specific Undead. It's still a risk because the more Undead you activate, the more you can lose. You could lose all of them with a single attack, that's why it's a great risk/reward mechanic
I find Necromancer character very interesting and totally cool, but the artwork is a disaster, it looks like a cartoon, way too colorful and ridiculous. I would have preferred something scary and serious. I think the artwork ruins it.
so ya just like the reveal Raveness just looks plain boring like not much of a character to play with. Not impressed with this character.. But the other 3 are Fire!
Why do you ignore all the messages? Release the game in Spanish or do it through another company. We are tired of "Delirium Games" carrying this game. It is a garage-sized company that only releases crap and does not focus on what is important. We have no content in Spanish.
Hey, instead of wasting time on this new project. Fulfill your obligation of the previous campaign and deliver the X-men edition already. We have waited long enough. Thanksgiving is just next week, along with Black Friday and Cyber Monday. And Christmas not too long after. This is disrespectful.
There is literally nothing more that they can do on that project. Their portion of that project has been done for a LONG time. This kind of delay is not only extremely common with Kickstarter campaigns, but the Dice Throne team also has a LONG history of delivering their projects on time. Additionally, they made it clear during their campaign during the fan vote for the Deadpool mini that changing the sculpt would add delays to the project, and people still voted for the change. So from my perspective, respectfully, it seems quite out-of-touch to give them such grief about it.
@@joelface And they made a. Idea where they said they have 2 teams working on DT actually, so this campaign will by no means affect the X-Men campaign.

Go Gavan! I mean…go me!!!
Gavan forgot to activate nevermore when he played midnight dreary!
I love the banter back and forth. Old man jokes.
Plus, the willow reference

I'm super excited for all four characters in this set! The wait for this set is going to be brutal.
I think necromancer will be my all time favorite. Also, corpseplosion is definitely the cooler name.
So excited to see both these heros in action!!!!!!!
Super excited for Necromancer!

Neceomancer seems OP. Atleast 3-5 attack modifier each turn with healing in some turn

What's the music in the background?
7:30 Gavan threw a 6 and the card let's you activate nevermore on 6. Gavan used three feathers when he shouldn't have needed.
corpseplosion kinda hard to say. corpse explosion is still great 👍. green feather dice face looks like a leaf 🫣

wow! That`s digital version?
Tabletop simulator I guess
I thought that during your first turn you skip your income phase. Like for all players! Is this rule only for the person who goes first?
That is only for the player who goes first. It's designed to offset the advantage of getting to go first.
Did Gaven starter with an income phase (pc and card) ? I thought first turn was no income for all players ?
Only the very first turn skips their income phase.

14:22 Willow the NES game was pretty decent. Never saw the movie.
There were many times that Gavan cheated himself, so it wasnt a "fair" fight !
rematch
Wanna see actual dice throw
Corpsplosion all the way!
Corpsplotion is definitely better!
Corpse-plosion
CorpsePlosion!
Nethermore was just keeping Gavan in the game
nah.
if it says roll a die per, you are gonna roll a die per undead. not roll five dice and pick off your weakest
I was thinking same, not much risk. Keep discarding weak ones who cost cheap to replace.

Yeah werewolf and necro are a big miss on the visuals
