It's good to see fellow New! music producers behind the scenes creative music process learning, practicing and getting better. We all start out not knowing what we are doing then years from now we will look back and say WoW! we have come a long way. Don't stop always find the time to make music.
You can use the timing button, set it 1/8 notes, keep it pressed and press a pad to automatically play 1/8th quantized notes on the ep133. Makes playing highhats a breeze!
That's absolutely an authentic workflow and beat session without editing, and it happens to me all the time lol! The important thing is, you were able Cook up a Dope Beat, and go through the process! Keep shining my friend!🙏🏾✊🏾💚
Honestlyyyyy I think you are more advanced than you are giving yourself credit for. I can hardly work in any DAW outside of Logic Pro, lmao. Your workflow is solid and you have some really nice music concepts here.
I like how you always go around 85 BPM . I always choose 86 BPM cuz I was born in 1986 ...music is so fun. You got me realizing I really need one of these little pad beat units.
I never even considered using a bpm based on my birthdate. That's truly innovative and unique! If you don't mind,I'm going to try it and let you know what comes of it for me. You should really keep up with this idea and expand on it, could make a cool project theme one day.
I'd recommend trying to focus on the feel, rather than your intuition on technique. I find that helps me a lot when I'm making something that isn't really sitting right with me. Have fun! and experiment. good music is all about feel and you definitely have the spirit for it. keep it up. even though you didn't really get to where you wanted to be, it helped me realize I'm not alone in moments like these. and that in itself is good art.
I also like to start with snare, hat, then kick. after that i try to add some variation to the kicks that feel good to me. That's how i kind of get out of that rut lately. i take inspiration from little things too, there was a grasshopper that got into my room and the timing on his jumps inspired timing for a snare for me. its really cool and invigorating to sort of find music in little things like that. just life in general is full of so much to motivate you. you've got this.
You’re so bloody down to earth and genuine Burra.. i’ve been going through a heap of your beats.. as I love spitting freestyles but I’d like to actually make a proper track to one of your beats. is there anyway that I can download any of them because at the moment I’m just screen recording them and using them like that but the quality is not the best when Doing it like that.. Keep being yourself mate and before you know it, you’ll have quite a decent following.Peace💪✌️
@unleashedaussie5042 hey mate I appreciate that..thankyou very much! I unfortunately haven't kept any beats in the past, just kind of filmed them and deleted them..
Today's tools are killing creativity. Since the Alesis MMT-8 (1988), there has been no normal, transparent, logical sequencing system that promotes creativity. I sold my KO2 the next day because it made my blood pressure 400.
just spend some time playing along w some shit w the machines, in real time. otherwise, you may as well just program everything n not put any skill into the actual realtime interaction... does that make sense, love?
Don't stop being genuine and don't stop making beats!

Practice make perfect I love see female beat makers 👍
What city and state are you interested in collaboration with you

Thankyou 😀 i appreciate that 🙏
Those first 2 attempts are SO RELATABLE!
Lovely settings
We all go through it! This is refreshing to watch rather than the scripted "making a beat" video. Keep it moving!
This setup is crazy🔥
Awe yeah, keep cookin’
your set up is very cozy, I like it

@alohomoratarot heck yeah!!!
Yeah it's important to show this part of beat making too.
Btw you can also pitch the whole group by using the fader. That's much easier.
@@wiggesobk oh I didn't even think of using the fader 🤭 thanks man!
I was about to write the same comment, sharing the reality of music making is definitely valuable.
@@burrabeats6036 me too haha it was another UA-camr who showed me that trick.
Came out good though, love the drums and that vocal sample, really good beats on your channel have subbed.
Appreciate that
Love the video! Great job!
Keep doing ya thing. You got something. I can definitely see it.
Thank you 😊
there great little machines for the price to be fair
keep it up yo, dope beats!
You're amazing 🤩😍
sometimes quantizing an element in the drum loop helps for swing if you are recording elements individually. dope beat

Don’t stop. My suggestion is practice playing beats to a click track. Don’t record anything. You’ll get a feel for it inevitably.
I think if you used quantize it would help your drums.

13:33 I'm enjoying the finished product. Could be like a hidden gem at the end of an album. Keep it Up!
Thanks mate 👍

cheers from peru
where'd you get those chunky knobs!! I want.
They are lego pieces...the circle drum ones 😎
Sick dual monitor setup, if you know what i mean
If u have a pation to boxes like SP or EP,You need to try Liven Lo-Fi 12 by Sonicware )Think u gonna like their workflow and sound
Yeah i have wanted to try one..just gotta save for it 👍
Is that a baby monitor on top of the speaker
Yep lol
I can relate! :)
quantize is your friend
would you like to make some music together ?

why audacity?
Just because it's very simple...
@@burrabeats6036 ahh i see. that makes a lot of sense actually.
kitchen calls😂
Please start using Reaper.
what a beautiful beatmaking woman !
your set up is fucking choice. you need to practice your drums. but yea. thats amazing set up
