Antonis, after seeing you painting this, I would love seeing you do a roccoco landscape painting (like Watteau, Fragonard, Boucher).
Thank you Antonius for sharing your time and experience, teaching us to enjoy what we are doing in a deep and concentrated creative process, with no technology, just letting the hand flow as if she knew what she's got to do.
I'belive you are right, technology cuts this process and you can see it in the results.
Each time I start to paint I need to know that I will have at least six hours to work with no interruptions.

Hey Antonis, I am a recent subscriber and I truly admire your work. I am starting amateur wood carving iconography and trying to learn a few more drawing techniques. This video was amazing, and is my new way of portrait drawing. Are you able to make more videos, like this I would love to learn more techniques with compass and shading. I'm not quite sure what you're asking; please forgive me if I misunderstand, but he sometimes uses a grid method for getting an accurate drawing of a work, and when he is satisfied with the drawing, he rubs pigment on the back of his drawing. He then flips the drawing - pigment side down - and traces it, which makes a transfer onto the panel to be painted. I hope that helps.
