Hello, can you let me know if you can export the air valve, for exp if the filter is completely submerged and using a piece of tube to place the air valve outside the aqua
I found the U3 filter that came with my tank to be pretty useless and unable to cope with 150 litres which it claims to be able to do. The bracket arrangement is clumsy and awkward. I ended up replacing it with something ore able to do the job..
For anyone that wants to use the u1 as a pump that oxygenates their tank then you will need it slightly peeping out of the water for the Venturi to work. Also…. may need to remove the inside part of the foam (it’s removable and I had no idea why) but removing will increase the flow to get the oxygen flowing. Couldn’t even work out what max flow was without taking the nozzle off to see it shutting off and on. I learnt all this today through searching many many unboxing Videos and reviews. No help from fluvals videos for the U1. The Instructions that came with my filter were terrible and I lost a fish in the process. Glad I’ve got it working now. It’s like a totally different filter/pump to how I originally set it up with the instructions it came with
@@mavredonsm.9333 Well the most reasonable assumption for me is that he is filming with the other hand. I can't smell every possible other circumstance 😄
Just want to warn anyone that has young or small fish about the Venturi opening on top of these filters. If you are not using the Venturi option then please put the little attachment on regardless, if it’s under the water it won’t make the bubbles. I didn’t have the attachment on my U4 and I have just found one of my little Corydora who was only about half an inch sucked on to the opening, the suction is very weak but for a tiny fish it was fatal. I only got them this Tuesday and I am so upset and feel so guilty.
Awesome thank you it was easier to watch you set up than read instructions God bless 🙌
I'm glad you enjoyed it and I was a le to assist you
I had this U3 filter for 2 years and finally have a since to install it because I didn’t have a 75 gallons tank for this setup. It’s pretty good
I LIKED THIS BUT i would like to see it insatlled into the tank.
Thanks for this - love your accent too - could listen to you all day
You're an inspiration. And not just with RJD.
Thank you Andy😀 truly does mean a lot❤
Great video. I need a submersible filter because no HOB filter will fit over the rim of my tank. Thanks for the detailed video, it helped a lot.
This was great and easy to watch! thank you!!!
No problem at all, I'm glad I was able to help you

I know I am quite off topic but does anyone know of a good website to stream newly released movies online?

Really nice filter 💪💪👍👍👍
What kind of filter would you suggest for a 36 gal tank? A u4 or a different over the back?
Howsit dude. No more fish videos? Just got into the aquarium scene and I am loving your videos 🤘🏻
Hi. Am I supposed to clean this pipe in the middle between the 2 openings. If so how do I open it ?
I do not seem to be able to send the pic, I mean the narrow pipe in front

Hi, does the carbon pad filter out plant fertiliser?
That will stay in the tank, never clean your pad 100% always leave some "bacteria" in the pad when you put it back in the filter
Really great bro 😍😃
Thanks bro😊
@@onearmbandit4226 welcome 😃
So to use the little snorkel thing at the top, does that need to be out of the water?
No.
@@MrMilkdud85it does if you want air bubbles to come out

Can the filter lay on its side or be on the bottom of your tank
Yes
Thank you. I got it
South african!? Love the accent!
Nice video
I mainly wanted to see the filter in action. Everyone knows how to read a manual, we want information that can't be found in box.
You can find it here in 11:05 ua-cam.com/video/Bu4pZ5ck3RM/v-deo.html
Unfortunately, it's only in Polish, but there's nothing more to say I think ;P
Well P.C Celino, it's handy for people who bought one second hand without a box or instructions
Please find a way to use both hands for manual demo actions!
What if he got only one. Dude, let’s be mindful

Are you south african
Why you using one hand...
