Hello my name is Pat and my channel is Richerinyears. I am 74 years of age, 5'3" and a dress size 10-12. I love sharing with you my love of fashion, my style and Beauty tips. I hope you enjoy watching my videos and hope they give you lots of ideas and inspiration.

I never go to Asda so it’s good to see the clothes you’ve modelled today.
I’ve got to say though that I wasn’t keen on the first and the last dresses.The first one was too harsh a colour on you and I agree whole heartedly about the top of the green dress.Like you I would feel very self conscious wearing that.
But all the other dresses and skirt looked great on you but my absolute favourite was the green trousers….FAB😊

Hi Pat, I do not dislike the first dress but I am with you I much prefer the neutrals in the summer and the pattern makes it quite busy. That said it suited fine. I am a great one for thinking that if the colour ‘lifts’ me then I will purchase but if not….No thank you. The ‘T’ dresses are fab and so easy to co ordinate. The trousers are a plus also. Everything was lovely on you except the green dress! I have a long red skirt and have never worn it yet but seeing you in yours I must find a creamy coloured top to go with it. Thank you for showing us your haul.🌞🌞

So pleased you have had such a lovely time with your grandson…precious moments! A lovely George haul and I like everything except the blue dress and the last dress. Actually it is a great dress but just a bit too much pattern and fabric for me. I absolutely love the green trousers…alas all sold out on line and not sure if I will get a chance to go to an Asda store in time to bag a pair. The garden seems to have taken over our time! I have been looking for a t-shirt dress that isn’t an above the knee style. My knees are best when covered up! Anyway- love the colour so have ordered. Think that will be a great relaxed wearing dress. Like you, I love a scarf! I think we are all so ready to move the winter clothes out and enjoy colours and floaty dresses.xx Liz

Hi Pat, I actually loved the first blue and white dress on you and especially with the white belt❤. Everything else , as ever, look fab on you and I loved the wide leg green trousers ! I think the top of the green dress was maybe a bit too Milk Maidey style for you and a little bit booby😅, if you get my drift haha😅. You’re too classy a lady for that style Pat 😊. The top of the green dress didn't fit well at all, it didn't suit me I felt like I should be serving lager at a beer festival. 🤣 Never mind I wasn't feeling too well either had to go back with my eye on Friday to check apparently I have bad dry eye. Great video, I loved the green colour of the last dress but it’s no good if you don’t feel comfy in it. The cream dress and jacket looked really nice together. The blue dress was such good value and would be so useful on holiday, some great items as always.

It was a lovely haul from George and the green trouser combo was super. The dresses were lovely but I agree with you that the neckline on the green dress wasn’t right for you and it wouldn’t be for me either. But you picked out some lovely things and as ever brought great inspiration and ideas for accessorising.

Hi Pat, love your taste!! A really good selection here from George at Asda!! Loved the t shirt dresses, the citrus colours really suit you!! I loved the blue dress on you but felt a size down wouldn't swamp you! The green trousers and red and cream skirt were stunning too! You make everything look good!! Shame about the green dress, colour and print were lovely on you but yes the chest area was a little off. Glad you had fun with your grandson. Has your eye settled yet? Had mine done yesterday under a general anaesthetic thankfully. After 2 retinal detachment surgeries under local anaesthetic in October last year, I couldn't face another local!! Xxxx❤

Hi Gillian sorry just seen your reply. No they gave me some AEON drops but I did buy some from the Chemist called HYLO Forte but they are expensive. Are the ones you mention good. The ones I've got don't seem to be helping much. Pat x
@@patgarner8457 I've been discharged with 3 lots of drops, Chloramphenecol, nepafenac and the pred forte, which I believe are all available on prescription but each do a different job. I believe the Pred forte act as a soothing lubricant. Xx
@@jillianpurdy2542 is that last one the cream you put in eat night somebody told me about that one but they didn't mention it at the clinic, is it good. Which one is the best for the dry eye x

Gosh Pat, don't you suit orange! and yellow too. I agree with you all your assessments really. I do love you in the Blue Geometric dress, because you so suit that Kaftan type garment. Makes you look like, "you're so moneyed you don't need to try". Lol Puts me in mind of Sophia Loren for some reason. However, it is too big for you. I'm not sure whether the pattern is too big, without seeing you further away, but you are such a good judge yourself, I won't argue if you feel that. Green wide trousers look fab. The last green dress? You are quite right imo. I'm not a prude, but you know as well as I do, that a women looks far sexier in a Bardot style top or dress showing nice tanned shoulders than outlining her bosoms like that! You may as well put two big red arrows to them! 😂 You're a good sport to show us how you look as a buxom wench though. Always lovely to see you. (75 in July . Words fail me).

I liked the blue dress but not on you. I agree with the colours as you get older don’t need bold colours like that. The skirt on the other hand is totally different. With the cream top looks nice. The trousers are nice on you too. Am loving the t shirt dress. I love the colour on you.
