This is the best I ever heard. I was in tears thinking the elderly father's farewell to his second son going off to the war, may never see him again and hoping his son visiting the father's tomb after the war. I could hear Frank's understanding of the father's heart. Frank, you are the best!!!

I've listened to many of the 'Danny Boy' versions by all of the singers which have been uploaded here. I think yours is the cleanest in terms of the diction, that I have yet heard, and with an Irish accent as well. A Great song done to perfection by a Great voice !!
Thank you for all of your wonderful comments. Unbelievably, Frank suddenly passed away on Saturday Feb 17 2019 while on a vacation in the Florida Keys with his wife and her family. I was his personal manager and can say it was a great loss to me, his family and his fans in the US & Europe. It was truly a great loss to the world of music. His voice no doubt was a gift from God. Please watch all of his videos to realize what a great natural tenor voice he had possessed. R.I.P my friend till we meet again.

I am so sad to learn of his passing. I was hoping that he may bless countless people with his God given talent. God must have been lonely to take him home to be with Him. Only two people touched my heart with this song, Frank and the greatest contralto Ernestine Schumann - Heink who was the first performer of this song. May God continue His protection and provision on Frank's family.
