Screaming about you running onto the green plants, but apparently I was hours too late. But all things considered, well done Penge! No plants will stop us from exploiting worlds! I'm curious if you will play this if it comes out of demo. It looks like it has potential. And of course I am a sucker for RTS. Loving it ever since Command and Conquer!
I kept yelling for you to build walls and turrets to block off the green plants from coming in behind your expeditionary force, but I think you couldn't hear me over the sound of the explosions. >_< At least you eventually figured out that you needed more of the small tanks.
18:49 Can you not just put a solar panel by the wall to power the guns? It seems you enjoy doing things the hard way. ;) EDIT: No, it's fine. Good job.
Curiously enough the solar panels don't generate their own little energy grid zone, so everything has to come from the base and then spread out. So logically yes, putting a solar panel near to things that need power should work but in practice it doesn't!
Have you ever played the Creeper world games Penge? Very similar vibe to this game and they just released a new game. Though I would recommend starting with Creeper world 3 or 4 (each is a standalone game just carrying on mechanics and theme)
I like the idea but the world concept just doesn't work for me.. Who would shoot plants with guns? Use fire, chemicals, tanks equipped with spinning blades.. Come on.
@@TheGeekCupboard Yep, a huge shame as it could be a truly unique strategy, not just another generic space tanks RTS. When I found japanese knotweed in my garden I definitely haven't thought of shooting it.
You were acting so worried about the possibility of those plant things spawning actual units... Do not say sucg things unless you want to give the devs ideas on how to make both the greens and the pinks stronger, last thing we need is human settlements which the greens and pinks can corrupt and turn humans and vehicles stationed there into their puppets
You did good, Penge! You showed those plants who's boss.
Now to put them in a pot and use them as decoration...
Decoration? Where do you think our mulch comes from@@wwlaos😂

for this one , I actually cheered for the plants!
You must construct additional Pylons!
I heard that in THE voice.
Such bravery! Your boldness is ore inspiring.
Nice one Penge this is my type of game.

Good vid.
As others have said use the Artty independently from you're other units.
Bad guys? No dear Penge - we are the British Empire
Quick, get the flag!
I like your attitude, as I am a fellow British man.

One of the best sketch show one liners of all time.

I don't think he is as familiar with the RTS methods as he is with say, strategy and RPG. Which is fine, it takes time and experience to learn.
@@joshuacr Well, to be truthful, he's not familiar with those either. Hope he doesn't open this thread, lol.
I see you! I don't disagree.

@@TheGeekCupboard Lol. 👍
This one was a nail bitter!
Ah a good ol' RTS
Solar panels? Because you're worried about the environment? lol
Some good ol' coal power plants would have solved that whole hostile native ecosystem issue by themselves!
We should have just gone nuclear plants. If we failed we would have nuked them as well @@wwlaos😁
That's the only choice we had!
big tip build in the middle use your 4 tanks to kill pink. wall your base and mass up you armour easy win.

If he enjoyed this, I definitely think he would love Creeper indeed!
hint for future.. AIM your artilary manually
Why is David Mitchell cast as the thumbnail face of evil?
Do a UA-cam search for "Are we the baddies?" and find the clip where David Mitchell looks like he does on the thumbnail, it's very funny.
If you could just be quite long enough to realise you need to attack the nodes with the artillery, perhaps you'd fair better. 😂

That is a good point, fire would have been better. Or big blades, like Jayce and the Wheeled Warriors!

Awful strategist, if at all 🤦
