The Swiss Army Knife is propably the only reason why no army ever dared to invade Switzerland.
Haaa ha haaaa, for sure is that the reason!! 😅😅
@@FelixImmler - I thought some German / King said that invading Switzerland was not the problem but that getting out again alive was the problem..... Happy New Year
Don´ t bully someone with a small knife! You never know how he might use it!
@@TonyNque Yes, the Kaiser asked the Swiss Chief of Staff how many soldiers he had. He replied ''half a million''. The Kaiser then said ''What will you do if I send a million of my soldiers then?''. The Swiss officer replied ''Each one of my men will shoot twice, then go home''.
@@simonh6371 This was way before the Kaiser - when taxes ( cattle & sheep etc ) had to be taken away physically - of course the US bombing Switzerland in WW II was no so nice either ;-) ....
I stumbled into your videos yesterday and I’m hooked to your Victorinox Tips and Tricks series
...without Your knowledge and creativity its only piece of metal. Thanks that You share that.
Thanks a lot for watching!
Never learned so much from an YT channel!
Very excellent tips! I really enjoyed it. The saw extension was the best, absolute genius!
You are without doubt my favourite UA-cam personality.

Thanks a lot sean. i am glad that you like it.
brilliant tips for the knife Felix
Thank you very much!
this saw extension is really clever .Thanks a lot man
Einfach klasse! Erleuchte uns weiter.
I feel like I'm following a PH.D in Swiss Army Knife.
I have 2 Victorinox for hiking or bush crafting emergencies, but never used them aside opening food cans and beer or wine bottles. Time to use them for real.
Thanks a lot for your nice feedback!
They went overboard with these new entire workshops in your pocket tho ones
@@adventureguy4119 I think the Huntsman has the perfect amount of tools
@@adventureguy4119 Anything above swisschamp is overkill for every day carry, just meant as collectors items really
@@adventureguy4119 I have several SAKs, but my favorite is my old Champion. For me it's the ideal tool collection, and carries perfectly in the small watch pocket of my jeans. Too bad that one has been discontinued. I think the Swiss Champ is just a little too much.
what a great video ...tks for sharing.
Thanks a lot for watching!
Sweet!! That is an awesome tip! I never thought to extend the saw in that manner.
Thanks a lot dear Knife Doctor!
You are a positive person. Always cheerful inventor
Awesome! More tips and tricks! Please!
Your wish is my command 😂
You are a champion! Neither Mac Gyver would do so well👍👍👍Greetings from Argentina 🇦🇷

Luftgitarre wahr gestern!
LG Felix
That is a genius mind you have there Felix. I don't know how you come up with some of these ideas.

Very cleverr and skillfull guy!
Thanks a lot Tiago!!
Verry helpful vid!
I used the saw many times to brush the wired fur of my Parson Jack Russell Terrier. Any other brush or comb did not really work, only the Swiss Army Knife saw was able to get out all the loose winter- fur in the first warm days of the year. I got the hint from a hunter who did the same with his dogs.
I really appreciate your work. Keep on vlogging!
Felix Immler is the ultimate teacher and King of the SAK . When will the book be out ?
I've learned so much and your instructions are much appreciated my friend .
very cool @felix i love your creative mind!

I really like the extension handle for the saw. Thanks for the tips !
Thank a lot for visiting my channel!
As always Felix Awesome ! Thanks for sharing. All the best from Scotland. Garry
Ohhh, thanks a lot and greetings to Scotland!
Great tips! I have carried a Swiss Army Knife since 1969. First it was the Tinker. Then I discovered the Hiker about 10 years ago. The only one of these tricks I knew was the last one.
Poplar Ridge I like both but decided on the huntsman.
Very. Nice video @thanks for sharing and all the hard work to teach us these things!!!
Thanks a lot Tommy!!
Wie immer super Felix!

Posted a new sak how I set up my survival mod. I love that you show that can do so much with just a small knife. Size doesn’t matter!😛

i dont know if its the accent but you look very pleasant and charming. And great tips as well... im subscribing!!
Thanks a lot Kavish!
Danke Felix! Wie immer sehr toll dargestellt.
Vielen Dank für Deinen Kommentar!
Thank you Felix, your tips are beautiful :)
immer wieder fazinierent was das kleine messer alles kann, erstaunlich was du da raus holst`! die neue serie gefällt mir sehr gut, bin gespannt was wir noch zu sehen bekommen *ja füüüühl den druck* :D
liebe grüsse Stefan
you are brilliant.
Thank you so much!
I just ordered a used Swiss army Trecker, the one used by the German army. It has a good locking serated blade in front but leaves a Streight edge closser in. And it has a good saw and an aul.
I only payed $25. Thanks for these important tips.
I bought the same knife as you, only mine had the serrations ground off by the previous owner, unless the early German army knives didn't have serrations. My knife has a more oval shape in the blade than the newer ones. I love it. I have four SAKs now and love them all.
Grosses Kino Felix.
Danke fürs Zeigen u es Grüessli us em Seeland

Awesome work!!!

Yes yes yes comme d’habitude tip top, merci à toi 👍🛶👌🔪
Merci bien!
Third video I watch from your channel and it is already one of my top favorite ones
The saw blade is an awesome tool. There are a lot if people who think it's usless tool, and they be so wrong. The saw on my Huntsman pretty much saved my life 5 years ago.
Can you tell me more about....?
Sure. I'll post my story to you tomorrow morning.
Hi Felix. I just found your channel. I have been carrying a Victorinox SAK for many years. I think it is the same one in this video. An older " Officer ". I absolutely love it. A little tip for you that I learned after temporarily losing mine . I took a lanyard from a camera about 2 feet long and attached it to the little ring on the end of my knife. I attached the other end to a carabiner. I wrap the excess around the knife and put it in my pocket and then attach the carabiner to my belt loop on my pants. The two feet length usually gives me ample room to do my work with the knife while keeping it attached to my pants. Keeps me from losing it. It also makes it easier to remove from my pocket. I just pull the cord and it pops right out. I have several sizes of the SAK and I dearly love them. I usually have at least three in my pocket at all times. Thanks for sharing your tips brother.
Hello Chief! Thank you so much for your big comment! Your tip with the lanyard is a good idea. I already lost pocket knives for half a army :-D Greetings from Switzerland
Felix
@@FelixImmler I've lost my share also LOL. The lanyard works really well for me Felix. I haven't lost my knife since I started using it.

saw this trick using just the corkscrew.. I think this way is more stable!
Thanks for you hint!
That first ones genius. 👍
Thank you so much!
Next up - How to build a log cabin with your Victorinox Pocket Knife
This is my dream since years!! 😂
That would take a LOT of small lot of small diameter logs and a lot of cutting with a small saw blade, but if anyone could do it, it would be Felix!
Genial wie imm(l)er. ;)
Wenn man den genialen Victorinox Service mal außen vorlässt - wieviele Messer hast Du schon “runtergearbeitet”? Danke.
The awl on my SAK has pretty much put my cordless DeWalt out of commission. I don't think I'd own a SAK without one, that's just how much I use it.
Thanks a lot Robby for your comment! I like the awl too...
The reamer/awl on the alox series is probably the most used hand-tool for me
Vie Geitz Felix Hello hello hello. Fantastic video series, great ideas, great examples, great filming, great humour - I love them. A great instructional video with smiles and humour - fantastische!. Can I ask 1 little question. I noticed your mini screwdriver inside your corkscrew. I have bought three of these and I always loose them. Have you any tips or tricks to keep it inside the corkscrew - danke shern meine firieund, thank you my friend. (Sorry this is all the swiss-german I know :¬) ) Ciao! [[p.s. Thank you camera man - great job]]
Thanks a lot for your comment. No, i don't know your problem. When the corkscrew is closed the minim screwdriver can't fall out? Did i understand something wrong?
@@FelixImmler Hi Thanx for the speedy reply. Yes I understand it stays when the corkscrew is open but when it is open and people play with the knife they always fall out - even if I screw it deep, thanx very much
Dude..I Freaking love your vidieos. Thank you..
Thank you so much!!
You are a damned genius Man
Thanks a lot!!
@@FelixImmler now we need another book, "swiss army knife tips and tricks" :D
Hi Felix and greetings from North East England. I enjoy watching your channel and the great things you can do with a SAK. I've recently watched a film on Netflix called Nowhere which is about a woman that escapes a repressive regime only to find herself trapped inside a floating container. She has to cut her way out with a drill, whose battery goes flat. She continues to cut between the holes she's made with a SAK saw. Surely they can't be that good?
Great video! Awesome tricks very well done and nice to watch.
l activated the bell to get notifications when you upload ;)
Thanks a lot!!
Suggestion: make a Mors Kochansky try-stick with a fixed blade, and Victorinox. Measure how long it takes to finish it.
hello bruno. Thanks a lot for your proposal!
Geile Tricks. Da muss man erst mal drauf kommen.

Hallo Felix, vielen Dank, wieder was gelernt! Tolle Beispiele was alles möglich ist!
That's very soft wood. What kinda wood you using Felix.
Hazel...
Hi Felix, my 30 year old SAK has a small wood chisel in it so I use to level/smooth lap joints. It is also handy for cutting the concave part of a spoon fast so you can clean it up with the small blade. My 3 year old "The Champ" also has the small chisel. A very handy tool. Between my old kinfe and the new one, I believe that Victorinox swapped out the chisel for the hook for a lot of models but I am no expert.
1:26 you are also able to make a spear: just open the big blade.
Felix have you seen the video on the guys that dig out a house on the side of a mountain and make a lake all by hand and natural resources.......
Can you give me a link of those videos?
As a man here, thank god I carry my Swiss Army Knife around. The grandfather's appreciation does feel right for me. Also if the times comes to making my own weapon from an environment, off course I would use all of your knowledge to my full potential.
Thanks a lot for your nice comment!
Kompetenzaufbau zum Besten. Und das noch kostenlos. Danke Felix, ich habe wieder etwas dazugelernt. LG
benjamin:)
Vielen Dank mein lieber Freund!
LG Felix

What in the world?! Dude the first hack was INSANE!!
The Rolex of pocket knife.
Excellent video but i have a SAK Workchamp 111mm where the wood saw comes from the other side making this trick impossible to do. :( Felix, do you have any exit for that? Thank you
You can also turn the Corkscrew in a stick for extend the handle...
Absolute Freaking genius !!!
