Part 7: • Big Gipp on 2Pac Getti...
Part 9: • Big Gipp on Goodie Mob...
Part 1: • Big Gipp: I Grew Up Mi...
    --------
In this clip, Big Gipp recounted being at the party in LA the night Biggie was murdered and said he felt a bad vibe upon arriving. In response to Vlad saying he still has no idea who killed Biggie, Big Gipp said LA as a city was all in on BIG’s murder, which is why the real story never surfaced. According to Gipp, it was as if the city was retaliating for the death of Tupac.

Gipp is right. LA hip-hop got silently blackballed for at least two years after Biggie got killed. The industry blamed LA for all the drama and Biggie's death. The west didn't come back till Dre hit with Chronic 2001 in late 1999 and started working with the Dogg Pound again and no new LA artists got on until Game in 2004, like Gipp said.

In February of 1997 MTV News said that Biggie was gonna be in California for A MONTH. That clip might pop up somewhere in the years to come but I personally recall seeing that on TV. That alone probably got back to Suge Knight. Let's be honest in saying that Biggie's death was a hit. I know "the west coast" likes to take credit for that but I believe it was done professionally. The shooter didn't blast up the car like they did on Pac and Suge. He rolled up saw who was in there let off about five shots in that one direction and he sped off. Bad Boy got a little too comfortable out there and some Death Row people probably infiltrated the business they had going on out there. From what's been said the decision to go to the VIBE party was a last minute thing so somebody told the shooter hey be out there at a certain time. Bad Boy is in here RIGHT NOW. All those people in there was probably on them giant brick cell phones back then feeding information to the guy and he followed up. We don't know who the shooter is but all the investigations have led to SUGE being the one who green lit the whole thing. Suge is doing 28 years in a California prison. If I was him and I really did it I'd admit it just to stick it to Puffy one last time. It ain't like they gonna ship him off to a New York prison. Them dudes wouldn't do NOTHIN to Suge anyway.

He could go through another trial or do an interview and say YEAH PUFFY I DID IT AND THERE'S NOTHING YOU CAN DO ABOUT IT HAHA! Suge has denied it all these years and there's other people involved so I don't necessarily know that he would go that route. The whole thing is crazy since there hasn't been one arrest and the theories that have come out might be true. The Amir theory or Poochie but we'll never truly know.

People have to understand Tupac was just going after biggie and he has said that in his lyrics All the Time... It was the media that coined the phrase "East Coast / West Coast Wars" .... And that phrase actually made it on the cover of a African American publication... Vibe magazine which is owned by Quincy Jones... So in many ways he helped fuel the flames that led to the demise of his daughter's fiance, Kidada Jones
