Peace. When it comes to places to go and to move to in Belize, you'll be spoilt for choices. There is Hopkins, Placencia, San Pedro and San ignacio. Corozal and Orange Walk are not also bad. I met expats in Ladyville as well. I think you will just have to go and visit to assess for yourself.

Ohh that's a good one. It depends on what they can afford. At a glance royal carribean resort comes to mind. A bit further away from the hustle and bustle of San Pedro. Close to the beach, swimming pool, bar and restaurant. No staircase to go to the cabanas. And affordable. However, I'm not going to limit your choices by mentioning resorts I have only been to. What about having a look at www.booking.com and assessing some more. I hope this was helpful.
