This is surprisingly deep and multi-layered for one of his riff based pikes. This one even has a solo or two. I think big b has been trying, and succeeding at learning new grooves.
The 'Communicating Through The Stars' Solo is insane. I've listened to most his work including the Pikes and that one in particularly stands out to me personally
Ok, this one is absolutely FASCINATING!! 😍 Buckethead takes us on a breathtaking space voyage with Cosmic Oven. I couldn’t help but imagine sci-fi light beams warping around as he lasered through those melodic taps - especially at 12:50 🛸👾
I’m absolutely in love with 7:15 and its reprise at 14:44!! I keep coming back to the song to wait for those two sections specifically. Nothing but delicacies to my ears
I just read a comment about Mr. Vai's "Hydra".... It doesn't matter if the thing has 20 necks... It's a matter of skill set and execution of such. We are on such a different level of musicality . That beging said Big B's guitar is the 4 fold Hydra that gets wet when he makes it get wet. Ok . Stay hydrated. It's a wild ride.
