This guy safed my life. nothing more to say...
Same here..
Same here
same!
Or perhaps he even 'saved' your life.......
He didn't save my life but my sanity was saved by Buckethead
I am new to Buckethead and he has been rapidly dismantling my top 10 and I love it.
You can count yourself lucky to have found this unique person, I've been listening to Bucketheat for a little over 2 years, he has replaced all the other bands and guitarists for me, I only listen to Buckethead. I keep thinking, now I've found all the golden tracks, but Buckhead keeps teaching me that he always manages to inspire me, and I'm very, very demanding when it comes to music. Enjoy the grand master.
Fuck yeah
LOL its so funny because my music taste roamed around different genres until I found BH. Whenever my friends talk about their favorite musicians they always have a few on their playlist and I feel a little embarrassed to say that I am fixated on only one.
For me Buckethead's music is the most effective antidepressant. Forever greatful. 🙏
Man that main opening riff on Claymation Courtyard is so beautiful. To me it's very sad and emotional, yet full of hope. Love you Bucket
I work in order to feed my Buckethead addiction.
there’s A LOT of musical geniuses out there
FOR EXAMPLE
Paul McCartney
John Lennon (he’s not here but still a genius)
Mick Jagger
Freddie Mercury (he’s not here but still a genius)
David Gilmour
Micheal Jackson
and lots of others
BUT.........
BUCKETHEAD DEFINITELY tops them all coz he’s the GENIUS OF ALL GENIUSES
THE BEST OF THE BEST
THE GREATEST OF THE GREATEST
THE GUITAR AND MUSIC MACHINE
THE MOST INCREDIBLE GUITARIST TO EVER, EVER and I mean EVER to.........PLAY A GUITAR
HES THE BEST AND ALWAYS WILL BE
BUCKETHEAD FOREVER
❤
Freaking amazed by this guy. Been listening to people like wylde, Rhodes, dimebag, hammett, mustaine, satriani, Vai since the 80s but this guy blows my mind.
Dont get me wrong, I still love those guys as I am a metalheads but OMFG this dude blows my mind
A step above all others. I can only imagine what goes on through his mind and what his thought process is when he plays. Every aspect of his playing is on the ultimate highest level.
HES by far the goat
Me too and I’ll add Gilmour as prob my Favorite til I discovered these Pikes. He has more awesome songs than anyone and Satch has a lot
Buckethead has it all. That's why he's the G.O.A.T !!!!
If BH decides to play track 2 on his next tour, the audiences may not survive the disintegration.
Track 2 really should be on his next tour. All of these really.
This is one of my favorite pikes
Me too. Try 234, though.
Just fantastic, he is my No1 guitarist of all.
It blows my mind how unheard of he is. I live in Canada and only one other person I know is aware of Buckethead. When I speak about him I have to catch myself because I start gushing like an evangelizing preacher.
@@brucefreadrich1188 Keep preaching the word brother!
@@zisanshahriar2779 I try not to speak. I just turn the music louder and let it do all the talking.
I am very housebound and bored.
Where are you and what are you doing?
If you like BH (and you have some time to kill) you will like this: girl playing Dire Straits "Sultans of Swing" on a Korean gai-you-gim…
ua-cam.com/video/KFiyZB5ucgo/v-deo.html
@@brucefreadrich1188 Indeed Buckethead need not require any introduction, since any introduction that one may come up with will always fall short of what he is truly capable of.
I'm home and just trying pass these dark days.
I already heard that cover months ago! Love Dire Straits!
You like Buckethead and since you have time to kill you will like this: My friends playing Porcupine tree's "Lazarus" on a couple of Ukuleles.
ua-cam.com/video/cw-xEjiXL1Q/v-deo.html
@@zisanshahriar2779To me, BH is kind of a secret which only a few (… 80K views???) know about.
It reminds me of about fifteen years ago when I used to tell my friends, "You should really read this book, "Game of Thrones" - it is awesome…"
I first heard of Buckethead about two years ago while reading an online article about people who had performed remarkable feats. There was a story about a one armed man who had rowed a boat across the Atlantic Ocean, a story about a stair climber - a guy who climbs the equivalent of mount Everest every day, and one about this guitar player who had over three hundred albums.
The number made me pause.
People who have been in the music industry since forever: Tony Bennet, The Rolling Stones, Bob Dylan, Neil Diamond, Willie Nelson, Elton John, Rod Steward, Sting… they don’t have 300 hundred albums among the lot.
But… you can fart into a microphone and call it an album.
So I looked up Buckethead. “Soothsayer” was the 1st one I clicked on.
Yeah… this was no fart in a microphone. This was unreal.
Was the Dire Straits cover recommended by UA-cam? That makes me laugh. Sometimes their algorithm is effective. Thanks for opening the Porcupine Tree door. How do you know the Hippiecrits?
If I might pass along UA-cam's second gem of a suggestion… Another musical act which seems to be unknown (at least in my part of the world) is the Hu. (Not the "Pinball Wizard" Who, nor the "American Woman" Guess Who, but the Mongolian metal band which plays the morin khuur - sort of a cello of the War Gods). They look like they are coming to raid my village and take my women (actually they look like the Dragon Queen's bodyguards), but they did well on the European concert festival circuit last summer - setting it on fire - in a good way.

Love this style of Buckethead. Love all his many shapes and forms but this particular style really appeals to me.
I agree Justin - Its mind-blowing
Justin Buell - I’m with you on that bro. Just electrified jamming shreadage. One of my all time favorite pikes. ⚡️⚡️⚡️
One of the best ever from Buckethead...simply, beautifully, awesome!!!!
This maybe the best album of the century... all Hail Buckethed for his Brilliance
Slash does not even come close!
This should have millions of views.
+Kiwi Power I'm trying, geez. Have some patience.
24:20-30:17 of all the Pikes, this is some of BH's most fantastical riffing of all! Wooof! This little 6 something minute track makes the hair stand up! LLandP BH!
You weren't kidding. Freaking mind blown.
Tom N - No Doubt Bro. Some amazing stuff on this Pike .
and 51 was the first I bought. handsigned. it's here with me. a marking point in my life
Dude how can we get him in europe? It must happen! You are from Germany, Right? Im from Belgium.
@@jorisboulet3619 I heard rumors that the Netherlands is currently negotiating and may actually allow him in. Despite his obstinate face-covering habits, and surreptitious KFC advertisements.
AND provided that Shred Alerts, Emotional Overloads, "Too Many Notes", and Wah Abuse are addressed properly during the event. As well as the mandatory performance of this entire Pike at least once.
So, well, hope is never lost, I guess...
But seriously, anytime, by any means, and anywhere within a 1500-km radius of Rotterdam...

eu queria comprar todas as pikes autografadas, mas moro em um lugar desconhecido do Brasil
this was the first pike I bought - I am so proud
MetalMatt! You need a new website! I'm an agency in Brazil, lots of experience... let us help you make a new website...a ugly one!! lol But very funcional and user friendly :D
Incredibly amazing playing on this pike, Disintegration Mirrors is definitely one of his greatest solos ever, pure magic! Eerie Canal is pretty awesome too. I still don't get why people complain about the pikes' rate of release &/or that his "look" is holding him back from being taken seriously by anyone but his fans. Obviously, he does things his way when he wants to, gotta admire that even if you're not a fan, not to mention his guitar wizardy & creative prowess. We've got, Vai, Satch, Gilbert, Govan, Eklundh etc...& Buckethead, simple as that. Part of the enjoyment with Big B for me at least, is actually hunting down all of gems he consistently creates on his releases, born from the anticipation of "what's this immensely talented & creative genius gonna do next?" This ride's over...for now...back to the front of the line...
His look is the reason I respect him even more. It probably isn't how it started but it gives the feeling that what is important is the music and not the author which, maybe paradoxically, elevates the author even higher.
Aplaudam todos o maior guitarrista de todos os tempos - BUCKETHEAD. Escutem EERIE CANAL (PIKE 51) e tirem o chapéu. Ele é o rei da guitarra. Quem consegue acompanhá-lo?
Eerie Canal is one of my favorites by Buckethead.
heard this played live tonight in baltimore👌🏻 haiellllllBUCKETHEAD
No freaking way............Did he really play disintgeration mirrors? I wanna see this live! for me this is the best GO Bucky you GO track, the parcour on gitar is just unparalleled. I Always wonderd if he played this track live how much would survive vs the recording. Cause its just so godlike

Bucket Greece loves you!
Ann K. - Hey back from the States. Buckethead is my hero. ☮️🎸🥁🇺🇸😃👍
Love a lot of his work (though not every album) but this one somehow stands out. It's so lined up and rhytmic, just a pleasure to listen to.
How fkn mind-blowing is this pike around the 25 to 27 minute mark!! And then just before catching your breath it knocks you off your feet!! FKN UNREAL :)
I start my mornings out with his beautiful melodic guitar work, gets me up and working out. Light in the fog is amazing as is this one.
Last track is one of the best Bhead piece ever..!!!
1:46 I mean, wow. That's a screaming guitar...
Have waited! This divinely great! Thx Matt!
Always too amazing Bucky is incredible to hear and to feel
From 24:20 .....wow wow wow
THIS one is too much, no, this is too much. Every time I listen to Pike 51 it gets better and better, you come to feel emotions you never thought yourself capable of, pure ecstasy to the ears and soul.

Brilliant as usual. Long live Buckethead!

Unreal. Bucket, you're much higher than van halen gilbert govan satriani, sebastian bach, bethoven etc. God of music. Whole pike is the greatest composition ever build with main melody and background - for me. :)

My god, come on!!! - 26m onwards just blows me away!!!
We like his early stuff. Like this one..
a classic!
Its been quite a while, since Big B realsed an album.
been waiting for a new one for some time, and you know...its worth waiting!
Thanks Matt, and Big B for this Amazing PIKE!
Are you being sarcastic? This is like the 883929282726 album this year.
olivermasters He means he was getting accustomed to a new pike which seemed like was released every other day.
NEPTUNE700 Indeed,that's exactly what i meant ;)
Usually Buckethead releases 1 album per week, but for this one we waited about 3 weeks or so.
BurnHoleInMyHeart yea its a real shame that he will never be taken seriously as a real musician. to release an album every week to the point where i cant even keep track is absurd. ESPECIALLY when 90% of them are unlistenable. The world outside of his niche of fans will never know his greatness.
***** are you kidding? did u just say 90% of buckethead albums are unlistenable? even if ure just talking about pikes....i still think ure waaay off the mark..... i love everything buckethead does. are you really complaining that buckethead releases too man albums? wow.....
I really enjoy drifting to sleep to this pike. Phuqing exelent
thanx aGAIN

Simply thee best Buckethead I've ever heard!! Although, there's too much to go through but so far this is where it's at! Genius. I've not heard anything from him I dislike...ANYTHING!!!
Every pike is insane... I just started over from the beginning recently. This is where I'm at right now...long journey ahead.
#268
I never heard of Buckethead before. But I heard kel and rich mention them as being as good as deep purples child in time, so I just looked it up to have a listen. I'm blown away. From reading some of the comments, I'm not sure if this is one person or a whole band. But whatever it's incredible. I'm a Jethro Tull fan but this is as good as Tull . I paused this to write this comment. So, now I have to listen to the rest of the disc
First track is total skater dude music. I love it.
Oooooh goodie c:
What a trip
Chyba najlepsza Pika jaką wydał zaraz po twisterlendzie
Asombroso.
Someone tell me about this band ! What is a pike? I just discovered this about 15 minutes ago. I need to know more. can someone who knows tell me all about it, if you've got the time.
Buckethead isn't a band, it's just a guy that releases a ridiculous amount of music mostly by himself. For most of the pike albums a guy named Dan Monti programs the drums, and buckethead does the rhythm, lead, and bass guitar stuff. The pike albums are just a series of 276 I think 30 minute or so albums, which he says all are themes to rides and things at his (imaginary unfortunately) amusement park. He does have many other full length albums with a real drummer, and he has also worked with many other artists like Bootsy Collins, and Viggo Mortensen. He's been on several movie, and video game soundtracks as well.
@@nathanmcmonagle3229 ^^ perfect explanation
Buckethead was also with c2b3 and gnr. He also has music that is not in the form of pikes. Like population override (one of his best imo)
Pure eargasm❤ 6:01
Ok 2:00 in. What was THAT!!! 🍗🥁🎸🇺🇸☮️😃👍
