GREAT way to respond to my posting last week! ;) I LOVE the purply-merlot - my all time favourite red wine / 'lightning' tape and the ultra wide floral tape - which would make a good border in a teenager's room for them to colour themselves. ;) Love how the alcohol inks react with the washi too! A shout out also to the man behind the cameras 👍🏼👏🏻😀 Would you consider doing a future video showing ways to integrate, say a poem or other printed verse (longer/more personalized) than a stamp can offer...without it looking like ‘cut and paste’. I love Altenew markers, stamps, and dies. Your cards turned out lovely. I have two of those altenew washi tapes, the dotted one and the purple with the gold. Altenew also has a blue floral washi tape with a matching die that's fabulous.
Just found this video. I bought some of the wide washi tape and mounted it on cardstock, then I was stuck on what to do. I am going to try the alcohol ink ideas. Thank you.

I am working with these Washi tapes tonight. I had tried zig water brush but it was not the best. It beaded up at first because Washi has coating that doesn’t absorb at first. Had to keep moving it around with a damp brush. Was planning on using alcohol markers tonight. Happy to see you use them. Wonder how watercolor pencils would work. Have to try. Guess I will just try every medium until I find the best for me.
you cant use water based you would need something that dries on non porous surfaces
I also used the burgundy and gold for die cut ornaments at Christmas. HAGD
That wide Washi tape is so versatile - is the only place to find it at Altenew? BTW - love your hair!! So so so lovely!!
LOVE these tips and your uses for wide washi tape. Would love it even more if you would just please hold the finished piece still for a second before moving it back and forth so we can get a good, straight on look. Thank you. I love the ideas you come up with. Amazing and awesome. I have made some alcohol backgrounds on Yupo paper. It has been weeks so they are really dry. When I made them into cards my hands got inky. How do I prevent the ink from coming off?
Try our foiling tip; those sticky areas never realy dry but the foiling trick will stop that

I'm sorry, but I didn't see any washi tapes used. It is just me or is the title video incorrect.
All three tapes used were washi tapes they were just wide version and as i mentioned if you have narrow ones you can tile them for a similar effect

It’s single use plastic so don’t bother! Just pop some alcohol blending solution on your surface then wipe away with a cloth.

Bubbles: depending on your tape finish you can use a very fine needle to barely poke a hole in the bubble and press the air our toward the hole and the tape should mend itself invisibly.
