To clarify,you can just use a regular extract once you're done scouting the labs location,you don't have to go back to streets. It's been three days i completed this quest and i got a backend error when hitting the complete quest and got zero rewards,and it shows the quest as completed,thanks BSG,still waiting for my injector/med case 👍

The quest is a taste of what Tarkov is going to really be like. Nikita doesn't want you to load into all the maps, instead you leave your hideout into factory or customs then you have to go to the correct extraction to move onto the next map, and the next. It was an insane idea years ago when Tarkov was small but here we are slowly marching towards the dream with a "marathon" quest.
funny thing is, spt has a mod that does exactly this, but they added trader spots and stashes in between crossings so you can go from map to map and them go to customs to access your hideout

Can confirm Alt F4 works & puts you back into stash if you do it while in 'preparing the game'
@LVNDMARK just to add to everything when he said you queue into other people doing marathon its not entirely true, you will sometimes but its not a separate queue its like loading into a normal raid you just have the transit extract and others dont.

@@PolishCow96 Its not about the money. When i bought EoD , bsg was still an 'indie' dev, with a promising game in BETA, and a good reptutation. The loser who bought unheard, are paying to a shitty company, with a game 7 years into beta, just so they have some bigger pockets and free roubles. Thats why unheard edition is for losers. it's not the p2w.
Just to clarify if somebody is reading : Both queues all the players for the current map. Suppose if players are queued for marathon in GZ then other single Run players are also in the same match. While players in Marathon should get queued after the transit to new set of players from marathon or solo run.
If you have a blacked limb, it will heal it a bit, also theres a better marathon quest from fence where you run through all the maps and get a thicc weapons case
Finished the marathon quest from Fence yesterday, that shits stressful, basically the guide with no downtime
Me and my friends did it first time, had 2 really intense gun fights on the last 2 maps but managed to do it first try. It's stressful but a lot of fun

They have made it clear that’s the plan from the start. To have the map all connected in a way, so wouldn’t say they are trying to hide anything
no there just testing map to map travel in the form of a event/game mode to make sure it works before the put it in the main game. they did the same thing with the flea market event and after the event they unlocked the flea. honestly the best way to do it because players can actually test it and get rewarded for it but if you don't want to you don't have to.

Marathon would have been a great opportunity to test servers being open 24/7 where people would join and leave without the match ending

Anyone know if you can extract from a regular extract in marathon mode, then hop back into marathon mode from the map you left off with? Or does it auto reset to ground zero? Cause realistically u need like 3 hours dedicated if you can’t.
no if you leave any other normal extract you have to restart. I get what your saying though because it takes a long time to do all the maps and some people might need to pause to go to work or etc. maybe it will work like that in the future where you can pause but when you come back you have to que into the map you where traveling to.

I thought I wouldn't enjoy it as much- after trying Arena Breakout & Delta Force... but I ended up jumping in and falling back in love with Tarkov all over again. There is really nothing that comes close to Tarkov quite yet as a full package.

If all marathon mode does is open the transits then why tf is there a different mode? Just add the transits to every map, in the normal queue. Thats literally what bsg promised. To open the game up to other maps

best early wipe quest is just playing arena. Im levl 19 with only 3 raids played

Also the recoil control skill is completely unfair to new players and requires far too much time to level up. Meanwhile highly leveled people have better gear AND WAYYYYY better ability to control recoil. One of the dumbest things I've ever experienced in any game.
