Might be a bad take, but I say 60 minute raids for pmc, 20 minutes at the end for player scavs. I like long raid times. Do I have to stay for the whole 60 minutes? Hell no but does it feel like I can accomplish more at times because of the extra time, at times, yes. That way pmc's get 2/3 of the raid time for whatever, and then the last 1/3 is for player scavs to come in and take whatever is left. A longer raid time would also help new players as well potentially. I remember when I was new and it would take me 5 minutes to loot a body.
@@spagbol4475 How does that encourage camping? I don't see how a longer raid time encourages camping other than someone just sitting in a bush for longer.
Do you think when BSG makes an audio change like they did this wipe, they do any testing before they make the switch, to try and find these random audio occlusion zones? Or do they just throw it at us and say "let them test it out"?
Yo that bo6 comment hit hard this is my second wipe on tarkov getting way better on mouse and keyboard but going to bo6 there is just no comp need the controller for just the movement
12:20 I agree with that. As someone who scavs a lot too - I agree that we shouldn't be in a raid in the first 1/2 of the raid...I also believe we should have an extra 5 min PAST the PMC's extract timer.
the bag drop only has no sound on your end the 1 of the 2 was looking for you but he didnt hear you only your bad drop and about raid timer 50 for streets is actually a lot but 35 for lh could use 10mins extra because of how much you have to run in some cases
I usually found myself walking in the first 400-1k hours and would find it easier to bring 40kg into raid without the bags weight, was a good opportunity to bring in heavier plates that people wont usually opt for and worked even better with the previous armour changes and could use flesh ammo in smaller caliber rounds you can mitigate the ergo effects by using movement to manipulate to scope whether its lean/unlean or the barrel-sway of strafing look at the stim meldonin was nice to use for metabolism leveling
I got scuffed twice, once as a pmc and once as a scav, my entire body and gun were invisible so only my rig body armor and helmet could be seen. I found out when I was a scav since some dude messaged be and thought I was cheating

11:10 You are wrong. Depending on the quest, 40 min for a map this big is good!! As someone who rarely plays Streets, I normally spend 25-30 min just finding my quest items then it takes me 5-8 min to find my extract!
idk, I think longer raid times are good for everyone, the solos can run hit what they want/need and get out, the groups with 3-5 people of different XP lvls and quests have time to go do everything with time for standoffs or long pvp. he scavs at the starts is not good imo. but the longer raid times I can see from a solo player or even experienced duos not liking it as it give the Timmie's time to sit in their bush to let the chads clear out before going to their quests.
@@BloachismStrengthandFitness There's not really anything to grind in the game or keep you engrossed past 100 hours and having over 20M. It needs questing back, which they had in the CBT so I don't understand why they removed them. It also needs more to do in raid. Currently the maps feel more like play spaces, and less like organic areas. There is also a lack of interesting loot and its placement is fairly determinite which means that most of the time you are simply carrying out people's kits, and that loses its luster after a while. The game plays extremely well and has a ton of great QOL features, but it needs time to evolve into something that can compete with the depth that tarkov offers. The issue with this wipe is that audio got so much cleaner. If you go back on SPT (which is an older version) everything is LOUD. your player is SO loud, the environment and the wind etc.. so this wipe with the new additions to the liberator headset.. everything becomes MUTE.. so not moving IS ENCOURAGED. you just SOUND WHORE your win by not moving and always having the advantage.. just dont camp in a bush or you'll be given a free gearset from a "rat killer" which is just a scav
