  • In this adventure we search for new trails to wheel. Our goal is to make it to a specific location by connecting all the trails we find along the way.

How is the fuel consumption in this vehicle?

Did you need to use the difflock at all? How is the car overall? Thinking of buying one of these.

Hi Max, I use the centre diff lock every time. Mine also has a rear diff lock which not all of them have I use that regularly too. For example, on the rutted section at the start I use both the centre and read diff lock it just makes the climb much more controlled and it is also easier on the car. Somethings you need to keep in mind if you want to buy a 90 are that it burns a lot of fuel, it is an old car now so it will need some common wear items like bushes etc and they have issues with their lower ball joints but in my opinion that is mostly due to neglect. If you need a cheap tourer then this is a perfect car for you. If you just want to do technical trails, lift the car more than 2 inches or do any type of extreme off roading I wouldn't recommend the 90 due to the independent front suspension which will be limiting in these situations. It does make for a very nice car on road thought and don't get me wrong it is still pretty capable off road. Overall it is a reliable, comfortable and capable car it just depends on what you need it for!

@@TheUntraveledPath touring, work and trails. I’d probably go for a manual as I know the autos are a lot more thirsty. I think the ones in the uk all have rear diff lock so wouldn’t have trouble finding one. Are the seats easy enough to remove to make room for a bed setup? Thanks for the quick and detailed reply.

@@Maxtrialsuk Your welcome! Yes UK models all came with the rear diff lock. The 3rd row seats are very easy to remove just two bolts if i remember correctly I have mine out right now. I am not sure about the second row as i have never removed them.

The second row does fold though so you can actualy build the bed setup over them when folded if you dont need the space underneath. You can also make a folding bed setup which you can fold back and still have acces to the second row seats that is what i was thinking of doing to mine.
