Im 29 now, I have already paying a premium in hdfc life sanchay par advantage which matures in 5 years with 15 lakhs and am using the deferred monthly income of 3000rs every month with 2k in mirae asset emerging blue chip fund and 1k in tata small cap fund from this plan..
During maturity i must already did a sip of 3k for 10 years in these 2 plans. With that maturity amount of 15L can i do swp with 10k per month which i can use in other aggressive funds for next 20 years to build a good corpus during my retirement..?

Sir , 20 Years SWP shown without annual incremental withdrawal ( need to consider inflation for our retirement expenses also ) request you to consider this inflation factor and explain same two funds , then it will real eye opening for all MF investors

ICICI Pru Multiasset fund - Withdrawn amt - 43,42,029 and current value - 5,12,34,040
Sundaram MidCap - Withdrawn amt - 43,42,029 and current value - 11,93,52,652.. Its completely Magic,

There is something called safe withdrawal rate, assuming the 1.5 cr is in equity, return of 12%, inflation of 6%, Safe withdrawal of 0.5% monthly which would be 75k/month and will increase annually by 6% you can comfortably retire and will have a surplus of Rs 4.19Cr after 20 years. Magic of compounding!!

SWP from equity or debt please advice
It is more of an individualistic call sir.
My approach to SWP - If i want to deploy the corpus and withdraw from next month itself or less than 3 years suggest you go for Debt but be mindful of inflation. I have been investing since 2014 in equity and my SWP will be from equity in retirement. Back test the strategy before implementing them else contact a Financial advisor. Good luck!

Correction is always temporary and growth is permanent in equity market sir. So we needn't have to worry abt that.

Sir, for 1 lakh of investment 20k p.m. SWP, is close to 24% withdrawal. So it is not a wise call.
Sir can we add more fund to the investment whenever possible in swp?or we have to start a new swp?
