Hi, Isn't hardshell material like Gore-Tex Pro completely obsolete with the likes of Toray's Dermizax NX (30k,30-50k "breathability"). This seems to do everything a hardshell can do as well as stretch like a soft shell. Some manufacturers like Bergans use this and I was wondering whether there is any reason to choose Gore-Tex Pro other than price... (In the context of Skiing, Backcountry, Alpine, Multi-role do it all problems) Your help will be appreciated! :)
This is an excellent breakdown.
