In this case it's not a war crime since they're parachuting with the intention of fighting on landing. If they were pilots that bailed because their plane was shot down, then it would be a war crime.

When I stormed Utah, there was alot of mg fire and some mortars. It took me 2 hours of playing untill I got my first shot of towards the enemy. I tried to play as historically accurate as possible. And that airborne mission is exactly how I had it. just inconvenient shit everywhere
My great grandfather fought in ww2 as a tank operator it must have been hell but somehow he managed to laugh it off and not get too upset he dident go into a nursing home until the week he died 97

I know a ton of movies and games already depicted D-Day plenty of times, but it only hit me at 0:30 that that was the last thing people experienced in their lives ever - watching their friends get shot dead seconds before getting shot themselves (if they weren't the first one to die themselves) - and that this happened to thousands of soldiers.

"Im gonna visit my mother" i dont remember what they said but it was something like that. They were legit rping they were in ww2 and Im so happy I overheard that.
