She seems to have forgotten that the accused are sitting in jail at burning through money. The judge and the prosecutor tag team to Copeland to get him to say what they wanted
It’s so infuriating that a judge cares at all about offending anyone. The misconduct in this case is insane. Been a defender for over 20 years and I’ve never seen a fiasco like this. I can only imagine what hell has been visited on poor defendants in that jurisdiction.
How do you feel about the Delphi case? Frankly I think it is as bad as this one in terms of judicial and prosecutorial misconduct but I've mostly done administrative and regulatory work so I am not used to the realities of defense work.

This still does not restore the faith in the justice system. It just shows how deep rooted this issues are , and how difficult it is to get it corrected. Imagine having a court appointed attorney in this situation. This shows that they will cover there owns butt just to get a conviction. This is worse then him staying on the case due to ex parte now being case law to extort and coerce witnesses.
The abruptness of Glanville's about face to releasing the whole transcript and his colloquy makes me think he talked with this judge and made a plan of how they could end the situation without saying the ex parte was wrong. So he planned to come out and defend himself on the record to give her an out to recuse him without making him look biased

Between this case and the SP in the Baldwin case, it's been interesting.
Judges don't have spines anymore and thats why we get garbage situations like this. She clearly just as corrupt and unethical as Glanville.
