Nothing more beautiful than newborn kittens. 🥰 Have had the honor twice to experience caring for a mother cat and her kittens. The care and love the mother gives them is heartwarming, and fascinating to watch. ☺️
I remember when got my young cat my older cat hissed at her and she made like a little squeak trying to hiss back. It was too cute. He warmed up to her quickly and she was soon using him as a bed, it was so cute.
I love how their instinct is to hiss at anything that doesn’t smell like mama, then the other one joins in. These little nuggets will soon realise the benefits of living beside humans. I really think they actively choose to be with us only because we provide for them, I trust a cat more than a dog because to a lesser or greater extent they choose us.
My cat had a litter of kittens and they legit smelled like milk for the first three or four weeks. Was honestly surprised af Edit: Its gone wrong guys, it's gone so wrong....dont enter this comment section and send help
Yes they are born (almost) fighting machines. But please leave these babies alone for their mother to do her thing. Only intervene if things are going wrong. That's best.
Socialization can't start too early. Though it is a good idea to be careful. My cat was born in a box next to my bed (sister's cat had a surprise pregnancy and I live with her). He wasn't even a full day old when my niece found out and tried to crawl into the box with him. That was *fun.* My sister's cat was kind of a horrible mom, too. She fed the little guy, but not much else. So he slept with me even before his eyes opened. He's now the most tolerant, snuggly cat I've ever known.
I love kittens! I actually found some kittens out on my deck recently. I suspect they were newborns, as they still had closed eyes. Newborn kittens are so cute!
At that age I don't think they're doing it to seem fierce. I think it's just a negative reaction to strange smells or indication of desire for a nipple to get milk from.
Actually, they're not. If you look more closely, the yellowish kitten is just laying on top of it's sibling. You can see the rest of the grey kitten's body just behind the yellow one. It's a cool optical illusion, though :)
@@analauracamapum yeah i didnt literally mean connected, it's that they look connected. sorry that i didn't specify, i just realized i didn't say that clearly! 😞
They are sooo cute ! I handled all the kittens from my cats last litter they were less than a week i had to put flea meds on them. My cat was one of the kittens she gave me 6 wonderful years and passed from a genetic condition unexpectedly on this last Christmas day. Her father passed from the same thing she did at 10 the beginning of September. I miss them !
Too damn funny. Where in the heck did these furry fiends get the idea to do a audible impression of a snake as a defensive action? It's bred into their design as well. God truly works in mysterious, and sometimes humorous, ways.
dude, I spent like 4 solid minutes rewatching the video thinking "... does that kitten have 2 head" when I realized where the body of the grey one was lmao
I never had a kitten that was born in my house hiss. They would meow loudly, but if we held them in a way that they felt secure, they were either quiet or much quieter. We had several litters of kittens when I was growing up.
I was visting with my aunt for a when I was 15 years old, while there her cat went into labor and had four kittens. As soon as mama cleaned off the first baby I was holding it while the next one was being born. I did the same thing with all four of them, I didn't know that by holding them so young like I did they picked up my scent. When they got older they wouldn't let anybody hold them, well except for me. I was told because I held them right away they thought I was their parent. I got one of the kittens from my aunt, she was the first one born ( kitten not aunt ) she lives with my mom now.

Love that the one kitten didn't become spicy until the other was sufficiently spiced up
He's a bad influence 😂
'sufficiently spiced up' 😂😂❤
Basically, he realized “Oh shit, my brothers in trouble!”
I love how the mom cat came over like "excuse me, but my babies are sleeping. Don't touch"
The fact that she lets him get that close is a sure sign that she trusts whoever is filming this
Id slap the babies even more. I want to hear kitten scream

Mama: I just put them down for their naps. Please don't wake them.
Do I have to follow you around all day?
mamma cat saying great job you woke them up, it will take at least 2 seconds for them to go back to sleep
2 seconds lol 😅 .
That's a weird thing for a trill to mean!

Why can't human babies sleep as much as kitten ?

You are lucky to have survived such a close encounter 😳
It's so cute that newborn kittens hiss to make us think they are dangerous. Kittens are too cute to be dangerous. 😊❤
Especially when they're this tiny... 🥰
Fear hissing, the earliest alarm call. They have no idea what that smell is.
Now we know exactly what a hissy-fit looks like!
Not even old enough to open their eyes, but they already know how to say “You’re not my mom! FUCK OFF!”
Kittens are the greatest thing in existence.
no, i am
Mama's wondering why her newborns are swearing.
Imagine your baby's first words being "Get the hell away from me!!!"
I love kittens and the mommy's mrrp 🥰
I love that they are a few days old and know to hiss to scare whatever is there
Animal are amazing 💜
They arent hissing. This is a thing kittens do to help smell things stronger in order to find mom/milk.
For a second I thought this was a 2 headed cat! Turns out it's just a snuggle puddle ❤

They're even cuter when then try to swat you with their paws and spit at the same time. 😂
Hissing like that is their only defense against threats. Anything that doesn't smell like mom gets hissed at.

Goes to show, everything is subjective

Old enough to crawl old enough to brawl
At that age I don't think they're doing it to seem fierce. I think it's just a negative reaction to strange smells or indication of desire for a nipple to get milk from.
The one on top does seem fiesty though
Cats are born feral, so the hissing is an automatic reaction to smelling a human.
@@ryderthesinful I've never seen cats that tiny have this reaction and we've seen many births. Pretty amazing, they're practically newborn.
They desperately need sleep at that age. They were rudely bothered by a fool and yes, it upset them because it wasn’t their mother.

They are practicing the ancient art of the hissypants.
Had a 2-hour old one in my hand before that started trying to hiss.
upon danger
baby cat: hisses to scare the threat
human baby: gives away the position.
Too damn funny.

To be fair, the hiss sounds a lot more distinct when they're older. But it definitely takes a while for it to develop.
Its evolution y'all.
