I do think that a lot of the future paradoxes look WAY better in motion cause they all have little hidden features that isnt shown in its static design (ie. Iron bundle's head being a spring and skating around on its feet, iron hands floats and it sleeps by putting its floating hands on its sides)
I feel like Pawmo only exists so that Pawmi can evolve into Pawmot through the walking feature but not until it gains some levels first
Even as someone who likes pawmi and pawmot. I have to agree that pawmo really just feels like a placeholder, and what you said honestly would not surprise me if it's true
I forgot it’s a three stage evolution. Probably the most boring of of 1000+ Pokémon.
Real talk, I think the Pawmi line is the whole pikaclone concept executed to perfection. Like, they're all cute, a good type combo, and Pawmot's little Megaman laser hand deal is dope.

What I like about Iron Treads is that it’s not a roboticized Donphan, but a robot that looks like Donphan at first glance but when you look closer more and more of it is off (the LED screen face, the “trunk” barely being connected to the body). It’s a cool idea that they mostly didn’t follow up on with the rest of the future mons.

The Pokemon Company really needs to step up their designs. Especially in 3D, the Frigibax line looks absolutely horrible.
I bet in sketches and the anime they looked much better. And if they had pixel art sprites they could potentially look amazing, but as 3D models they just look awful.

Lokix in D tier is a CRIME. My GOAT is the coolest Bug Pokemon of all time. It’s a locust with pocket knives for legs and a kamen rider mask, it’s peak design.

Scizor ? Volcarona? Golisopod? Frosmoth? Vikavolt? Well tbh lokix is better than everything other than scizor for me but i can see why it would be some's favorite . I think bug pokemon have really gotten love in the recent generations

Lokix in D+ I feel physically hurt
I haven’t seen anyone who openly likes kleavor. I think he’s so cool. He’s not one of my favorites but I wasn’t disappointed by him
The only thing about kleavor’s design that doesn’t work is how skinny the arms are, looks like it wouldn’t be able to lift its own axe hands
I gave numerical values to all of the rankings. 1 point for F - 6 points for S and averaged out the rankings for each generation. Somewhat surprising results!
Prozd’s least favorite generation is Generation 9 with an average score of 3.63 or a solid C.
Next up is Gen 4 which I thought would be his least favorite. 3.83 C+
Next surprisingly is Gen 5, he mentioned he liked that generation but gave it overall 3.838 another C+
Then Gen 2 with 3.92 C+
Gen 3 3.97 C+
The first generation with an average score of B- is gen 7 with 4.11
Gen 1 is next with 4.14 B-
His second favorite generation is Gen 6 with 4.19 B-
And he must have been in a good mood when he did Gen 8. It’s his favorite generation with an average of 4.25 almost creeping into a solid B.

14:08 S tier Ogerpon is by far the best thing that has come out of Gen 9 hands down!
Tarountula is one of those designs that looks a lot better in motion; it shoots its web-ball at people like a paddleball.

And then it evolves into Tinkaton and that brain instantly leaves again. Love Tinkaton for the same reason I love Fuecoco. No thoughts, head empty, just one brain cell bouncing around like a DVD screensaver.
After some thought and watching some more ranking videos of yours I think it would be cool for you to rate all the fire emblem fates and awakening characters. Either design, writing, or both. Also I don’t know if you’ve ranked the pokemon games yet, but that would also make a cool ranking video. Overall I’ve been having a lot of fun just listening to you talk about your opinions over the last few days so thanks!

I liked Baxcalibur a lot more when I found out that its a reference to the old low-budget suits that people used to wear to play Godzilla.

Quaquaval tends to be the least loved of the starter evos comapred to Mewscarada and Skeledirge which is sad since it my favorite. Not just of gen 9 starters but overall starters

I think some of these Pokémon needed to be found in their context within the world to be properly appreciated, like how he wasn't wowed by Pecharunt's design but remembered it fondly from how it behaved in the DLC. The Treasures of Ruin are like that too I think, after the buildup of finding their spooky stakes and unsealing them you get to encounter them with knowledge of why they look as they do and with a truly awesome soundtrack, and then they're cool. The music really goes hard.

Toedscool is one of my favorite pokemon from the latest gen, It's such a weird goofy little running guy, and some of my friends gave me a little bit of crap for it. I feel a bit validated that it received such a high ranking.

For Walking Wake, that highlights how the problem isn't Pokémon being on two legs (I mean every bird is bipedal) but rather it's often jarring when a very animalistic Pokémon becomes too humanoid.
Like, there's a rumor that Blaziken was meant to be ugly to test how humanoid players would tolerate Pokémon. Except, being a bird, it looks like a cool stylized dinosaur guy.
Then we got Incineroar...
It was Combusken that was meant to be ugly, to reflect chickens looking really gross when adolescent. Blaziken was meant to look awesome to reward the players for sticking with it

I don't like 2 legs when it's HUMANOID 2 legs but Walking Wake is hunched and still very animal looking so it's fine.
Felt the same about Rillaboom. Technically 2 legs but Gorillas can do that so it didn't the same. Cinderace feels like he could be your roommate or some shit.

the legends arceus evolutions aren't technically from gen 8, they ARE from gen 8 plain and simple. its like how meltan is from gen 7 even though it isn't accessible in sun/moon/usum.
12:10 This off-handed comment, man. I completely forgot Paldea doesn't HAVE the fossil mechanic that every other mainline game has, and this was the comment that made me realize it.
...not that it needs the mechanic, mind you. Clearly the fact that it's forgotten and rarely commented on shows the lack of necessity, and if you play Scarlet you technically already have revived fossils. But yeah, full on took till this remark to realize that mechanic was gone lol

I can't remember if you did Hisui yet, but I'd love to see you rank the NPCs (rivals, gym leaders, etc) for Hisui/Paldea, especially since the latter was so story heavy this time around!
