Bravo Erik! I've been waiting for this kind of information about the status of Pershing Square. So far, yours is the most detailed and current. I love how you focused on the razed topography , the orange trees and Beethoven. I also enjoyed your viewpoint about the project. Please keep us informed about all the new development and keep up the good work. Thank you. Thank you.
With the exit on hill street being removed at some point in the future i hope they consider removing the city considers removing the 6th street entrance. This would leave a total of 2 entrances and 2 exits from the parking garage.
I believe they are removing the car ramps on the Olive side. Any news on that empty lot next to Grand Park that was supposed to have a restaurant and become a side extension of the park? De Leon wanted to put tiny homes on it which is a terrible idea.
According to the most recent rendering, the Hill St ramps are eventually going away in a future phase. The Olive St ramps (double ramps) are remaining for the time being as far as I can see. I walked through Grand Park yesterday and I doubt anything will be done any time soon on that lot. That section of Grand Park is very under-used the way it is.
