THE TOP OF INNSBRUCK (Nordkette) AUSTRIA 4K - Part II

A day in Innsbruck heading up the Nordkette cable car to experience the Top of Innsbruck. What incredible views!!. Innsbruck's highest viewing point, the 2,300m-high top of Innsbruck, thanks to a direct connection from the city. Visit the Alpenzoo and the Top of Innsbruck with a combination entry ticket.
Within 8 minutes the Hungerburg funicular takes you up to the Hungerburg! The stations, designed by star architect Zaha Hadid, have become some of Innsbruck's most famous landmarks, representing state of the art architecture in the heart of the Alps. It's a great ride with the Hungerburgbahn funicular, the Seegrubenbahn cable car & the Hafelekarbahn. This is a great thing to do when you're in Innsbruck, the capital of Tirol in Austria, both in winter & summer time.

Many option are available to reach NORDKETTE CABLE CARS, Take 504 bus from Innsbruck Hauptbahnhof to Innsbruck Polizeidirektion walk to cable car station 500M. The Hungerburg funicular departs from the Congress station just down the road from the Innsbruck Old Town in Rennweg (see map below) for the first stage of the Nordkette cable car trip. The Löwenhaus station on the banks of the Inn River is reached within a few minutes after leaving the Congress. From here, the next stop is the Alpenzoo (750m). The Hungerburg funicular leaves every 15 minutes.
Hungerburg to Seegrube: The cable car leaving for Seegrube (1905 m) is in a different building from where you disembark when arriving in Hungerburg from Innsbruck. Looking towards the mountain, it is in the big white building next to the restaurant on your left.
Seegrube to Hafelekar : Stepping out of the Nordkette cable car at the Seegrube station, you can either go left towards the restaurant and enjoy the views from the terrace or go right to continue your journey to Hafelekar at 2256 m. Generally, you should allow at least 45 minutes to get from Innsbruck to Hafelekar.
