2024 Castañeda-Jennings Lecture and Award

2024 Castañeda-Jennings Lecture and Award was held on Tuesday, June 4, 2024, in conjunction with Pride Month. CTS was pleased to welcome Dr. Xochitl Alvizo to present a lecture entitled: "Church: A Queer, Feminist, Antiracist, Decolonial Listening to the Gospel According to Mark." In it, Dr. Alvizo considers the relevance of Jesus' message to the LGBTQ+ community.
We also are pleased to present the annual Castañeda-Jennings Award to two students who exemplify the spirit of Gilberto Castañeda and Dr. Ted Jennings.
