Well it's technically not her voice, it's a dub, probably watch the original voice acting one, the word "darling" just hits different

Zero Two and Yuuko Kanoe, both of these female protagonists seems a bit outrageous at first, but as episodes pass by, you get me hopelessly in love with your characters. So beautiful and painful and yet again more beautiful. It seems so wonderful to hopelessly fall in love..

It’s amazing how she is voiced by the same person who voiced Megumi from Shiki. This reminds me of a fanfic from the Anime itself called To Tempt Fate. It involves this boy who gets in between her & Natsuno. Because he knew that she be better off with someone like him who’s all nice & honest to everyone, while he can be very short temper. Which prevents everything that happened in Shiki, with him being the Hero. His love for Megumi is very much like these two combined with Tsukune & Mizore. As well as Alucard & Seras.

I think that I've a another all-time most favorite anime couple Zero Two and Hiro.
I mean on the very first episode of "Darling in the franxx" I thought that Zero Two was pulling Hiro in one of the Franxx wanting to have sex with him, but I was wrong it wasn't Zero Two wanting to have sex with Hiro he told her that he needs a companion a friend.
So she doesn't disappointed him, however it's both love,support and teamwork between both a pilot like Hiro and a parasite like Zero Two,but what the hell that's true There's nothing,but the power of love.
