    This is what I love about cyberpunk you dont always need neon lights just like in Las Vegas it's not all lights and signs the "real" parts of any big city the grim dark streets and alleys and low lit doors that hide the underworld. This is an awesome representation as most others do the ladder. Well done sir.

    Of course, tile grout for the grout around the bricks. It seems so obvious yet this is the first time I've seen somebody do it that way and I love it. It looks so simple and is using a pretty cheap material.

    +1, 3D printers are a blessing and a curse. You nailed it right on, it's easy to get lost and sink a lot of time into learning the ins and outs of how to fix one when it doesn't work right.

    Personally I absolutely love my ELEGOO MARS 3D printer, its been by far the best thing I have ever purchased for my warhammer addiction. I have it setup so good now after a couple of years of using it that I almost never get failed prints at all now. And the quality of models easily matches GW store bought. It's incredible for terrain pieces and scenics but also if you don't fancy shelling out £1000s like me for single models it's really good for things like titans and super heavy vehicles.

    Awesome diorama man! Quick tip for adding your own supports and getting them to come away as the pre supported cyber forge minis, try these upper diameters: 0.12, 0.22, 0.32 for light medium and heavy respectively and your lower diameters at 1, 1.10, and 1.20. All with a contact depth of 0.22
    I've found these settings to be a really great starting point that will give you a print that's super easy to remove from them with very little damage. Main thing is just adding enough heavies at the first few layers (bottom of feet, underside of object etc) that the print can hold on, then just use medium and lights everywhere else.

    For a lot of these pre-supported models I have to not only increase the exposure time but also decreased the lift speed so it doesn't yank the model off of the supports as it pulls it off the FEP. I recently printed a model in red resin that was printing fine in other colors and it was a mess so I can see even the resin changes the settings you need to use.

  • @Sisko4
    @Sisko4 3 роки тому

    Pro-Tip: After cleaning them with IPA (or whatever you use), get the prints into hot water from your sink and let them sit about 30-60s, the supports get weaker and more flexible that way and break of much better :-)

    When you were explaining the problems at the start and not getting g much help back it reminded me of when I got my printer. I have the Wanhao duplicator i3 plus I couldn't get it to level right, I followed the instructions word for word, contacted the company who gave me the same instructions, and each time the extruder would keep pushing down and gouging holes in the surface of the bed. It destroyed the magnetic print surface, and caused me to hulk out a few times. In the end my friend who has experience with 3d printing came over and had a look at it, he found the sensor had been installed wrong. In the end it was an easy fix but you really do need to either know this stuff yourself or know someone who can help!

    Phrozen 4k mini printer is the best one I have used . My printers are from Anycubic, Elegoo and Phrozen. The Monochrome 4k screen is much quicker and gives way more detail for minis. As with other printers it needs tweaking to get going, but there is an great Facebook community for help. You gonna be playing Cyberpunk, Luke?

    3D printers are def not throw in and don't care as when something goes wrong it can be very hard to workout what might have happened so always good to get some knowledge of your machine.

    Great video dude, love the ends result! 3D printing is one of those things that I'm terrified to get into for two reasons. Firstly, I'd be constantly worried about messing up and somehow breaking the printer. Second, I'm worried that if I DO get one and learn how to use it, my pile of shame will grow beyond belief!
    Top tips for dioramas though, the little details like posters and bins etc are a nice touch.
    Also, that thumbnail is sexy as F ;)
