    80+ movies and shows is crazy when you think about it. Especially because it is Halloween specific. But the amount of times this has been played at Halloween themed events and parties is where the heart of this song truly lives. I’m sure Bobby never thought that song would become the anthem of Halloween, but I’m sure we will be listening for many years to come. RIP Bobby!
    Great video! I would love to see your deep dives more often because this was a pleasure to watch.

    I received this 45 when I was 13 in 1976 and played it on record player about 35 times in a row in my buddies garage

    Wow... no record label took the song and yet it hit number 1 in the billboard hot 100 chart..... amazing content bailey..... thanks a lot and happy halloween 2023!!! :)

    Thank you so much for making this video!!! I was born And raised in Somerville, MA , and my great uncle was friends with Bobby Pickett and went to Somerville High School with him . He would tell me all these stories when I was younger about this. I LOVE The Monster Mash ... I wait all year for Halloween and Bobby Pickett absolutely positively is the King of Halloween for giving us all this timeless anthem for Halloween 🎃 Thanks so much for shining light on such an awesome talent as Bobby Pickett! 🎃🎃🎃🎃🎃 🖤🧡

    it was also used in the old version of the haunted castle ride at Santa Cruz beach boardwalk before it they changed it and upgraded it to newer version. there was like a creepy monster that looked like a demon of some sort who had a devil head and used it like a puppet sorta and it sang the monster mash song behind a cage next to another cage of a 3 headed raven singing along saying the he did the mash the monster mash lyrics ah roooo. and you would see them moving around and hear them singing this song every few minutes while waiting in line to go on the ride.
