Nice speed test. Those Lenco’s had a nice fat sound….I have a Leak badged GL75 in the loft that I should get down…..after I’ve finished working on a Sugden Connoisseur BD2 which is a whole other story
That fat, driven sound is typical for an idler wheel record player. By all means fix up that leak! I never heard the connoisseur but love the way they look. Serious machinery.
That second lenco looks like its been pulled from the Titanic and still sounds awesome!

The pl-12 has a bad RIFA cap inside ( there is only one cap in it).. also the 2 i had have had bad motors that made rumble.
Rumble from the motors? Never had that. Just a little humming. New motor rubbers solve that :).
And yes, definitely Rifa. Classic.
