All right I’m gonna go for it I had my dreams in a box in hibernation in the basement and planted them and they’re doing amazing and I didn’t wanna do anything until it’s really growing back it’s so amazing I can’t believe they came back.

That is just the advice I was looking for, in order to revive my old geraniums from last year, thanks. I didn't realise you could be so brutal with them when you cut them back.

Thanks for the informative video. We experienced more than a week of extremely high temperatures, almost 38 degrees celsius on a daily basis. Our spring temperatures can get really crazy. Prior to the heat wave we had temperatures below 20 degrees which my geraniums loved. They blossomed like crazy. After the heat wave most of them shrivelled and dried. Will I cut the stems the way you are showing in your video too? End of June is the beginning of summer here? Is it too late to do your procedure of cutting? Thanks in advance for your advice.

Very helpful. I'm still concerned that I don't understand exactly where to cut; I know not just the flower. It is not technically summer in Arizona yet but the weather is hot and dry. Any suggestions. I feel like I'm going to remove the whole plant.

Hilarious spelling of "pelergoniums" in the title of the video!
Is that "pelargonium" with an Irish accent? 🙂

Can you move the plant instead of putting the back of your hand in front of the camera? I couldn't see what you are doing all the time. I did see the front stem being snipped which is what I need to do to mine. It's not rotted just too long and leggy for the size of the plane. thanks
