Luster and Phantom continue to be the coolest character classes in any rpg. Animations, damage, flare, skill, feel, style, execution. You had everything, sega.
You can solo farm all the affix mats for CMAG, easily and faster from MB4 triggers on normal. This is actually the best and fastest way to farm Catalysts and the parts, except for Crack V, whether solo or in a group. Cradle is an okay side option for when there’s lots of players on, and you also want to farm meseta at the same time still, but much slower to get the Affix fodder this way too.
@@twotoned_echos Np at all ^_^ Also, since it’s normal, damage and gear doesn’t really matter, but does really help to have a PP battery of some kind to help do the quest easier. A cheap option for most, is a Genon Wep with S2 Lucent adversity. (The potential of the wep, with that S aug, let you have infinte PP from the wep, at the cost of HP instead) there’s a lot of other PP battery setups you can make for cheap to help out with the quest also.

I've already horded info on progression and weapons years ago (mainly for my friends back when they played) but thanks for the offer. i dont know why sega decided to scrap this extremely fun combat in order to lower the skill floor of ngs for new players then made the most absurd decisions that resulted in a low playerbase anyway 🥲
@@Wdp21-0rt which made playing with non scion classes hell. bouncer in episode 6 was pain. that’s why i will forever defend the decision to give every class a counter. and if we keep getting bosses like aegis and solus, then i think that we’re good.

These classes are a big reason why I still only play pso2 to this day, and cannot stomach even doing dailies in NGS, personally lol.

the entire point of scion classes was a lower skill floor but higher skill ceiling
@@spark9189 yes, and because of that enemies had to be designed to be harder

@@spark9189 i personally always found bouncer to be agile and up to par (tho i only used JB, idk if u mained SB)
@@DiscountYT bouncer was usable up until the second varuna fight on hardcore. that was what made me switch.
